Yuyo (Japanese: ヨヨ Yoyo) is a playable character in Fire Emblem Shadows. She is a member of Notia's Monster Watch, and joined in order to support her large family.

Biography

Yuyo grew up in a large family with eight or nine siblings. Consequently, Yuyo was often overlooked and forgotten about by her parents. As the eldest daughter, she joined Notia's Monster Watch despite her fearful temperament in order to support her family.

She was initially assigned to a mission to seal a labyrinth entrance alongside Rusty. Since this mission was actually an attempt on Rusty's life, the one who planned it, the Monster Watch's professor Perenna, had intended for Yuyo to also die in the trap to eliminate any potential witnesses. However, Yuyo was chased off from joining by Skoll at the behest of Ananke, who took Yuyo's place on the mission for her own ends. As a result, Yuyo ran into Sai and Shea, retainers to Naga, asking her to guide them to Rusty in order to offer him a pact with Naga.

Role

Yuyo was made available as a playable disciple on August 12th, 2026. Three Yuyo Souls are available by reaching story level 27 in both sides of the story of Book 3; six additional souls were given out as a special log-in bonus from August 12th,2026 to August 22nd, 2026. The remaining souls to unlock Yuyo can only be obtained through treasure chests or the Bazaar. She first appears in Book 3, shadow Chapter 6: Craven Leader. Her associated weapon is the Hidden Bow.

Yuyo is generally timid. Being in the Monster Watch makes her constantly question how long she is going to survive, leading to her fearful disposition in the face of shadow beasts. She is also easily scared of other people, but can get past this fear after talking and realizing someone is friendly, such as her befriending Rusty, whom she had feared due to his past as mercenary. Moving past her fears, Yuyo also shows a sarcastic side, making overexaggerated jokes poking fun both at herself and others.
