"Thunderer" (雷鳴, Raimei?, lit. Thunder) is a recurring boss theme in Final Fantasy XIV, composed and arranged by Masayoshi Soken. The lyrics are written by Michael-Christopher Koji Fox and the vocals are performed by Fukiko Sekine.

Thunder is the sound caused by lightning. Depending on the distance and nature of the lightning, thunder can range from a sharp, loud crack to a long, low rumble (brontide).
