Ranger Station Alpha used to be the frontline outpost for NCR. When we moved onto the Dam, this station has fallen into more a support role.Ranger Lineholm, commanding officer of Ranger Station Alpha

Ranger Station Alpha is a location in the Mojave Wasteland, located north of Boulder City.

Another NCR Ranger Station with commanding views of The Fort [3.28] and Lake Mead, these troops keep their eyes open for movement along “The Narrows.” Ranger Lineholm (who tells you the story of the bomber that crashed into the lake, how great Rangers are, and the role the station plays) commands this place, and Comm Officer Castillo (who you can ask similar questions to) are stationed here.Tour of the Mojave Wasteland

Layout[edit]

The station is perched above Lake Mead with a commanding view of the Fort. It is comprised of three tents, a campfire, and a radio tower. There are a few beds in the middle tent. Three rangers are stationed here, including Ranger Ranger Lineholm.[1]

  • The Lakelurks living along the shore of nearby Lake Mead can attack the rangers stationed here.
  • Like most NCR held positions, this one can feature NCR Veteran Rangers starting at level 16, as long as the player character has reached one of the main faction's endgame quests.
