09:43 am - oh my, yes, spring The flowers are still working at getting their thing on, but the trees, oh, THE TREES.
( pretty in pink...and white )
The cherry blossoms will really get going in the next week or so, I expect.
Which, of course, is my cue to head up to Boston next week. Usual suspects, I'll send out an e-mail later today. You don't get it by tomorrow, hit me up.
SPN 217 picspam is coming. Just, not yet.
Also, finally saw the Rome finale. I might have something more than Oh, Vorenus and Aw, Pullo in the next few days, but at the end, I'm glad they ended where and when they did.

10:32 pm - Rome insta-reaction ( AHHHHHH! )
eta: Just looked it up for someone else, and oh man. Yes, Rome has been renewed for another 12-episode season, but HBO isn't planning to air it until 2007! ::already fidgety::

04:45 pm - more tv catch-up I want to talk about Spooks, Rome, and Numb3rs, but that's too much mixing of spoilers. Hrm. How about I do this:
* Numb3rs -- Awwww. I mean, the resolution of the plot was totally predictable, but family stuff! And, and ::flails:: Don!
(Sorry, barkley, I didn't work at all on your story this weekend, due to the amazing reappearance of The Sun. But it's just as well, because I needed this episode.)
* Rome -- Oh my. Where, one wonders, would civilization be without Titus Pullo?
In other matters: Good timeline-condensing trick this time, I thought. Vorenus rocks when he's in soldier mode, but his non-soldier moments are why I love him lots and lots. And Antony? Still hot.
* Spooks -- Well, I know we've brought up this idea before so that all of our scattershot discussion of this series is in one place, but no one's mentioned actually doing it, so...I created spooks_speak.
Stupid play on the idea of intelligence folks talking in "spook-speak," I know, but naming stuff is hard. It is solely for discussion and analysis (since it seems like spooky_doings already fills the need for fic, fic-notices, and icons), and the only rules involve being careful about spoilers.
Anyway, I've posted my thoughts on 4.05 through 4.07 over there. Go. Join. (Please.)

02:43 pm - huh, look, tv talk I feel like I should see this episode of Rome again before I say anything, but I don't know when I'll be able to do that, so here we go:
( Pissing on Triton? Bad Idea. )

02:13 pm - Romans and notices Rome continues to make me happy with the little moments, although the big ones are damn impressive-looking.
( Spoilers for episodes 1 and 2 )
Anyway, I'm announcing the one posted to a community, so I might as well re-announce the one posted on a holiday:
* The Fraser/Kowalski PWP that I'd been worried about having to produce. Done. Yay. Maybe now I can get back to the one with too much plot.
* A bit of broken Sheppard/Starbuck. Which wasn't going to be a full story, but now they're there in my head. Damn it. That wasn't how this was supposed to work.
