MP Aug 19 2025 2:20 am Absolutely love SJ. He plays villain so well. I think he draws inspiration from different places and it makes him not pray villains in the typical kdrama way. First saw him in Hyde Jekyll, Me and oh my word. He showed so much depth in this character. Nonchalant and almost aloof as a therapist but also his raw human energy started showing when he worked out his plan. I started empathising with him as a character. It would be hard not to. I could go on and on but I Absolutely will always be impressed and speak highly of his kissing scenes. The only best kisser in all of kdramaland. So much that it would feel like I was interrupting a private moment just by looking in. Not sure if directors only prefer him as a bad guy but whatever role he has, he executes it perfectly. Also just saw him on Daniel Dae Kim's Butterfly on Amazon Prime. Started watching Kdramas in 2014 when I was a student in university and I'm absolutely still riding the wave. Planning a trip to Korea

Love May 05 2023 12:47 am Fell in love with him in Call it Love. Searched him on google right away and was actually surprised to know he's already married and with a child coz he's so young. I even saw he used to bag lead roles like in the drama "Mojito" with Lim ji yeon. I think that in that drama, Kim Young Kwang was the second lead and now it turned the other way around for them who are real life bestfriends.

First, I was kinda sad thinking that he is just the best friend second male lead with a broken heart but seems like there is gonna be a budding romance out of the pharmacy owner / landlord / best friend and the FL’s noona. Their characters play a sweet and light twist to the melancholic plot of Call it Love. After this drama I am really going to look after his past dramas. Can’t get enough of his charms and hope to see him again as the ML.

L Jan 15 2023 8:55 am One of most fav korean actor! First noticed his strong presence in Lie to Me drama (2012), and just realised it was just his second drama, and he was still very young at that time. Also happy that he is now a dad and can keep his career.

I really appreciate his hard works in acting while protecting his private life. He is very talented both in acting, and surprisingly in singing too ( keep listening 'Today' and 'Wake up' from Shut up Flower Boy Band OST/ Shut up & Lets Go).

And his real personality is even more charming. Although he only did few interviews (because he does not like it) I could say he has a good personality. Hope he would have more interviews in the future and have more great lead male roles!

This man deserves so much more praise & recognition, I feel he is such a rare and precious gem of an actor that has been mostly overlooked and under appreciated. I just saw and fell in love with him in Hyde, Jekyll, Me and he wasn’t even the lead actor. But he blew me away with his acting, looks, voice, his whole presence, I just wanted more of him and began looking up his other works. Then I watched Shut up flower boy band and I need romance 3 (which are 2 of my favorite dramas of all time) and was again blown away by his comedic skills, his ability to convey deep emotions with just his expressions and his eyes, his range of acting and the characters he portrays so perfectly and naturally, just everything about him is impressive and the amount of dramas and movies he has been in, (and I’ve watched every one!) at such a young age and in a few short years is even more impressive. He’s been in more dramas and movies in his twenties than most actors in a lifetime. He rivals any top actor, past or present, I actually think he surpasses them, he is not only talented but also unique, he’s no kdrama cookie cutter or look alike, he’s one of a kind, and so shy and down to earth in real life. And I could not mention SJ without mentioning his kissing!!! By far the best kisser in dramaland, he deserves the top award for that alone haha! I could seriously go on and on, I’m definitely one of his biggest fans!

Flo_Areta Feb 03 2019 6:01 am I know him since i watched "Lie to Me" few years ago. I like how his acting improved every time he takes new projects. He said in one interview that he is a shy person. But, then he can present such amazing acting on screen. He is such a cool and humble person because of that personality. I wish that he can finish his military service well. Come back with healthy mind, healthy body, and ready to take new projects.

I like almost all of his project for the past few years. But the best movie for me is The Villainess. And the best drama so far is Ms Perfect. Because he could act as a mature, unique, and different character there. Next time, i wish that he can get more chances for showing his acting skills in well-script drama and with skilled actress too. So, he can receive more love and awards. Lastly, i hope "Mojito" can air in television before he come back ❤️?

And for me Sung Joon is the absolute king of romantic young male leads. But do not be mistaken. He is also a versatile actor. After watching several of his romantic drama, I decided to watch White Christmas and Pluto. And that's when he became my favorite. And while I always look forward to a new romantic drama/comedy from him (he is absolutely the best male lead kisser!), I also wish to see him doing other projects to showcase his talent.

Flower Boy Band and then last year i get to watch him in both Gu Family Book and High Society and also this year in Madame Antoine. In my opinion,being an actor with deep speaking voice may make viewers feel less connected to what that actor delivers onscreen and he does face that problem to me. However, he improves himself on that and his voice has more colours to it now. Continue to grow as an actor and be sure to cb soon ok;-)

cm Feb 09 2016 9:04 pm I really have been enjoying Sung Joon in dramas. I especially like him in Madame Antoine. He has matured and over the past couple of years he has played a lot of different roles and done well.

The first role I saw him in was "Can We Get Married?" He was a bit wimpy in that role and I, unfortunately, let the role influence my opinion of him and thought he might not be a strong actor. Since that drama, Sung Joon has proven me wrong and I have found him to be enjoyable as a diverse actor!

Give him more male lead <333 lately I just finished his drama 'Can We Get Married?' and making me love him more and more <33 he played the leading role with Jung SoMin <333 he's a good kisser, indeed, kkkkk I recommend this drama to whom wanna see him played the leading role ^^ the story line is so good!!! Genesis Jun 16 2014 9:30 am I recently watched I Need Romance 3 and I enjoyed it. It was a drama that had a lot of lessons in it about love which I could look over my life and appreciate. The writers for this drama captured the human heart/emotions realistically and you did such an excellent job with your character Joo Wan/Allen Joo....I loved how the character really defined what it's like for a man to truly love a woman who doesn't quite know how to love herself or those around her.

I think you and the rest of the actors/actresses did a fantastic job...it really was a drama that was more than the passionate moment displayed. Thanks for doing such a great drama...I think it's one I will comeback to at some later date in life.
