Date: 2018-10-10 10:10 pm (UTC)(Probably not, but hey, at least we might see some questions answered at last. I'm feeling a weird kind of happy dread at the idea of seeing something written by Angela "me so quirky lol" Paolini.).

Date: 2018-10-11 11:26 pm (UTC)I really really hope Mr Stabby the Magic Fork isn't in the book, but sounds like it probably is. Paolini is one of those guys who, like all people without a sense of humour, prides himself on the sense of humour he hasn't in fact got. And there are few things more painful to read than "comedy" written by a guy who isn't funny.

Date: 2018-10-11 08:00 am (UTC)In all seriousness, I'd like to grab a copy when it gets released. Though if it's a trio of stories, I have to wonder how long his book would be.

Date: 2018-10-11 09:33 am (UTC)As much as I'd like to get a copy for if/when the sporkings come (I like reading the IC books accompanied by the sporkings), I'll probably have to skip getting this one. Sometimes, having the money to be able to travel is more important... Even if college sucks at times.
Hm...
(On an unrelated note, Grammarly wants to correct "sporkings" into "spankings". I'm not sure how to react to that)

Date: 2018-10-19 11:44 am (UTC)Actually, to be honest, the entire cover is a turnoff. I've been out of the loop as far as Paolini and Alageasia are concerned (I'm a little surprised he hasn't attempted a different "world" or genre), and the artwork itself isn't poor... but how many times are we going to get a book cover with some serpentine monster just lounging around? There's nothing particularly memorable about the design and there's nothing to highlight anything in that scene other than the overall scale.
I do like that his name is crammed at the bottom.
