So Coup D'Etat and other things
Ok - I'm happy to suspend disbelief and accept that the entire human population of the Pegasus galaxy speaks English (with an America or Canadian accent no less!) but please, are we really meant to accept that they also speak french? Because saying the word "coup" to someone should elicit the response "WTF? What's a coo? Like a scottish cow? What's that all about?"
I'm very saddened by this turn of events SGA writers.
And yes, by "very saddened" what I mean is "John and Rodney are lovers! Yay!" and everything else just serves to make me mock. And lets face it, I am happiest when I mock.
I also watched what I think was the first episode of Due South tonight! Mountie! Oh man that Fraser is hot. But seriously - Benton? Was his dad called Gayton? Grandfather Poufton? *shakes head sadly* What did his family expect with a name like that? For him to be straight? Yeah right! Looks like ITV3 are planning a nice bit of Due South-yness. Me and The Bert are happy about this.
