Note to self:

Go to bed on time!

Yes - I'm knackered this morning and have only myself to blame. Somehow I can't seem to make myself want to go to bed as much as I want to do the other multitudes of stuff that I can do while awake. Bad Von.

I did, however, have a dream about Callum this morning. And Liz? You were in it too. There was hanging out and everything. Nice.

Oh - and I know I talk in my sleep sometimes, and that's fine. But apparently the other night I actually said "Mmmmm...Rodney-touching" in my sleep. Man, I really wish I could remember that dream.

And speaking of Rodney touching - I have my amazing Rodney-touching-himself picture that Randa drew for me up on the wall by my monitor. Mmmm....distracting...

Ok - so I'm watching the episode of Smallville that Callum was in and...well...it's not pretty. (He's pretty - the ep isn't)

I feel slightly dirty now and I think I need a shower.

So yesterday we went to Lizly's to meet Maia, but she was sleeping so we were unable to. However, I did get a present off Liz and Anna that was like the mother of all presents. Ever.

It was this book, signed. Yes - signed by Amber Benson herself to me. !! They got it when they went to see her and asked her to sign it for me as congrats on my promotion. *is happy happy happy*

On the way back we were all crammed onto the Green Line through Boston and I had a guy behind me feeling me up. Seriously. Hand on my ass, caressing...feeling me up! I moved around enough that it wasn't too much (I would have said something otherwise - as it was I just laughed a lot at the absurdity.) However, as we went to get off Jac was behind me and he grabbed her hand and wouldn't let it go. I had to prise his hands off her's and then we walked off at great speed, but he followed us! Eeep! Liz and Anna hadn't noticed because we were heading for coffee. We managed to get rid of him in the coffee place but Jac was totally freaked out and I was shaking with adrenaline because when it was me I could see it as funny, but touch my sister and I kill you. One of the things that freaked Jac out the most was that she's in a foreign country. She said herself that if it has been in the UK she probably wouldn't have been so freaked. Poor love!

Well, continuing on - we then got together stuff to celebrate Jac's 20th birthday (Happy Birthday Jac!!) and drank cocktails (I rock at cocktail makeage - and am really modest also). We watched due South (Mounty on the Bounty!) and it was good. Then we watched the Bliss that has much naked!Callum and that was mmmmmmm....good. More things in the world should be naked!Callum.

So we're here! *points outside* Out there is Boson, MA (because in here is Anna-house which is technically not part of Boston, but rather part of the life o' internet people.

Went to the dentist yesterday and you'll appreciate how traumatising that was for me. They do however have face-freezing stuff that is a bajillion times stronger so rather than having my whole face numb from him using 3 times the normal amount of the old stuff, only the required section was numb, but for 5 hours. Plus my nose was numb and I ask you - what work is a dentist going to do on my nose?

But! It does mean that a tooth I had cracked slightly near the front is all fixed and pretty, although I hate that it cost me £95.98. Bah humbug.

Um - and I let myself watch a few mins of the first ep of season 3 due South (only a few mins!) just because I wanted to see what CKR was like in it. Ok - you have to understand that my viewings of CKR have gone thus - pictures, WW, HCL, due South. My finding of him attractive has gone - Nope, meh, wow!, OMFG! HE'S SO HOT!!!

Why didn't people tell me? Ok ok - they did tell me. Many times, with diagrams and everything - but wow! Dude, that man's hot. Damn hot. He had me at "let's rock and roll". *sighs happily and awaits season 3*

All seemed quiet on the western front last night. I finished work at 4 and, being the wonderful daughter I am, took my mum to the supermarket as she doesn't drive. There I am (in the tinned-food aisle if that's important) sauntering along with my mother's full shopping trolley when my phone rings. Anna mob? I answer because who wouldn't want to hear Anna going "Vonnie! Yay!!" down the phone?

And why was Anna calling me? Well apparently the Patrick/Callum comment-porn that Liz and I wrote to taunt Anna has become famous. I was laughing my ass off, right there in the middle of Morrisons as Anna filled me in on the details.

Long story short? Due to much laughing and amusement about the whole thing on my part Anna informs me that it doesn't matter how much John/Rodney fic I write for her as an apology, I'm not getting forgiven. So maybe I should just go ahead and write the terrifying idea I have about Picard dressing up as Fraser to play "due South slash" on the holodeck? No? You think Anna might kill me dead when I get there in March? Shame.

While on the phone to Anna and Liz last night I also postulated General Hammond/Bra'tac (thereloveissobald) and I think that finalised my fate. I think I made them both cry. I win at perversion!

In other news - all the excitement last night made me miss due South! I blame Jac because she was sleeping and forgot to call me down for it. I went to DL it and "accidentally" DL'd the first ep of season 3 (all this waiting for CKR-Ray is killing me!) so, my question O-due-Southians-on-my-flist, can I watch it? Or will it totally spoil the rest of season 2 for me? Can I watch it if I promise not to DL any more of season 3?

Oh oh! And I saw the ep of Supernatural that CKR is in! Dude not looking his best - but still got that older-man sexiness going on.

Also saw the ep afterwards that has partially-naked (and implied full-naked) Amy Acker. Mmmmm...Fredilicious. Is Supernatural trying to steal The 4400's tv-slag crown? The 4400 is still winning.

And to be fair, watching the ep of Supernatural called "Dead in the Water" and then washing my dishes with The Tempest playing really loud? Freaky. Like something out of a horror. Anyway...off to continue not writing Picard-as-mountie porn.

Had a dream about CKR last night - that's what I get for watching due South and then reading this (which is brilliant btw...)

CKR was Ray, but Jon Favreau was Fraser and their relationship was very BDSM (the influence of the fic). In fact, Fraser had "punished" Ray so much the night before that Ray was covered in painfull welts, but he loved it. F was feeling a little guilty, but Ray was loving it. In the dream I was kind of a third party observer and still was thinking "Hmmm...that Ray's hot you know..."

All in all? My brain is weird. But then we knew this...

And - just for everyone's info - I want more VM dammit. And I'm trying to make myself stop with the Weevil/Logan vibes. No! It's V/Logan 4eva! *puts fingers in ears and hums really loudly* Heh - look! Me shipping het and denying slash. Whatever next?

I know who Callum Keith Rennie is. I've known for quite a while. When two of your best friends are loving someone beyond reason it's not hard to pick up some info about said person.

But I had not seen this man. I had not seen any due South with him in and the pictures I saw made me go "Meh."

Then I watched Wilby Wonderful and saw him in all-moving glory for the first time. It was great! And the film was great! And Callum was freaking adorable. But still not hot. Still didn't quite get it.

Then Jac and I watched Hard Core Logo. Oh my. I get it. I get it and then some. That kind of hotness should be banned for public safety! I offer to house the hotness to keep everyone else safe. A selfless act I feel.

It's just a shame that Jac and I weren't big fans of HCL. I was really hoping to love it, and there's the canonical gay and all (canonical gay is my favourite genre) but somehow it just felt like it should have been a good half hour shorter. And there should have been more Callum. Like every shot, just Callum being hot.
