Biography
Samuel Stow was born in Marlborough, Massachusetts on May 2, 1680/1, son of Samuel Stow and Elizabeth Stone.[1][2]
He married Sarah Snow on December 19, 1704. [1][2] Sarah was born on April 1, 1679/80 1679 in Woburn, Massachusetts, the daughter of James Snow and Sarah Jaquith. [3][4] [5]
In Sarah's father James Snow's will, written on January 28, 1708/9, he left his daughter Sarah Stow 30s.[6]
His wife Sarah died on February 20, 1762.[1][2]
Samuel died on February 13, 1769/70, aged 88.[1] They lived together as husband and wife for 58 years.[2]
On February 15, 1769/70, the following heirs approved the nomination of Simon Stow as administrator of his father Samuel Stow's estate as he had died intestate.

His estate was inventoried on March 15, 1769/70 and was assessed at a total of L162: 6: 8 with real estate being valued at L142.[7]
On March 25, 1770, the following heirs, acknowledged receipt of their shares of Samuel's estate and discharged Simon Stow, executor from any further demands. [7]

- Sarah, born on March 22, 1717; married John Minot of Concord on June 26, 1744.[1][2]
- Mary, born on August 11. 1719; died on March 20, 1737; unmarried.[1][2]
- Simon, born on March 19, 1722; died December 16, 1795; married Sarah Hayden on June 9, 1746.[1][2]
