Alright. I've hesitated to do this for a long time, but I really need help right now.

I had some unexpected work that needed to be done on my car today, after it had stalled out when I was getting close to home. It's fixed now, but after checking up on my bank account after dinner, I'm having to make the choice in health insurance or putting food on the table.

At encouragement from some others in this community, I've decided to open a Ko-fi. I've set a goal equal to the cost of my health insurance bill for this month, but anything and everything helps.

Hi, everyone! Okay, so, my name is Minty, and I'm a transmasc who has been in various stages of transitioning publicly for about a decade now, but!! I have never been able to get a job with insurance that covers top surgery! Only HRT! Right now, I'm on state Medicaid, which also only covers HRT, no surgery, and I'm about at the point where I really need to get my top surgery done, like, this year.

I am on year three of applying to the Point of Pride surgery grant, but if I once again fail to cross the bar, I need to be able to have a back up.

Okay so I really hate that I had to make this update, but Medicaid requirements updated so that there is a requirement that recipients work at least one month in a year. I am entirely unable to work at this point. I cannot leave the house without binding; it's extremely unsafe for me. But I have been binding for a decade now and my body can no longer take it. It's extremely painful for me, regardless of how well a binder fits.

It's no exaggeration when I say that I am entirely reliant on whether or not I get my surgery to get a job. Work from home is no longer an option, and it does not solve the root cause. This means I may in fact lose my insurance. I desperately need this surgery at this point. Please, I'm at the end of my rope. If I can't get my surgery done this year I will have nothing left. Please, even if you can't donate, share. I don't have the social media clout to raise money. My ONLY way of raising sufficient funds is basically metaphysics at this point. So, please share.

Hello, I’m a trans man of color and first generation immigrant living in the U.S. My life has been rough in recent years due to the Trump administration but this is a bit of glimmer of hope in my day to day life. I am finally eligible for top surgery! This surgery is my biggest goal for my transition to finally be complete. I am sadly not able to pay out of pocket or have any form of insurance or assistance from my work. im a 28 y/o british trans man whos been entirely unable to access nhs trans healthcare for the whole time ive been in need of it, just over 10 years. being trans for me has been a long ordeal of waiting lists, discharges without explanation, paying massive amounts out of pocket to get my hrt privately, supply chain disruptions, and a period of forced detransition.

this has been going on long enough that it had disasterous consequences for my highschool education and ive been neet ever since, with all attempts at self employment eventually failing thanks to my poor health. a decade of mishandled debilitating dysphoria and unreliable and expensive trans healthcare, as well as countless other instances of medical negligence surrounding my mental health and physical symptoms has left me incredibly ill, disabled, and in poverty. its just been breaking point after breaking point and ive been left at complete rock bottom. im seriously struggling to cope with it anymore.
