Just watched David Hewlett's epic, Rage of the Yeti.

Did they, like, film that in someone's garage?

When I said epic, I meant epic levels of BAD.

Give me some more Ferocious Planet.

Huh. I just downloaded it today and haven't watched it. That bad, huh?

YES. I thought I could watch it for the Hewlett but no. Just. No.

Damn, and another guy I know (from FB), and actor from NYC is in it. James Patric Moran. He told me he dies in it, but I was hoping to watch it for him. I've never seen him act, but he's a nice guy.

I didn't get a chance to see it yet either, should I just replay FP again instead? Yikes!

ETA: I just wish David and Joe would do one of these silly Syfy movies together, I'd enjoy it no matter how bad it was.

That'd be my advice, yes.

And I think Joe was very wise to turn his friend DH down on this one. (but I would watch them in anything, too.)

I actually rooted for the Yetis.

I'd rather watch Joe's pants fall off his slinky hips anyway.

Hmm, I might have to download this just to see for myself. It amuses me how many awful sci-fi movies David has done, but I watch them anyway just for him.

Boa vs. Python was a masterpiece compared to this one! Yeesh.

I haven't watched it yet -- but I will. I know this because I have watched Boa vs Python so many times I can practically recite the dialog.

*headdesk*

The things I will do for the promise of a glimpse of David's biceps or ass are likely to get me thrown in jail.

Like I told Kalikahuntress, BvP was a best picture nominee compared to the Yetis. Hewlett does look good in this (I ff'd to his scenes and left it at that.)

I thought A Dog's Breakfast or whatever it was called, was bad enough, but now you are saying this can match it??
:-/

I liked A Dog's Breakfast myself; this isn't anywhere on the same level as the ADB. So if you didn't like THAT, I'd advise against watching Yeti!

I didn't dislike it, I just thought it was kind of amateurish...............
Sorry, I mislead you to believe I did not like it........................

I was wondering if it was going to be FP-like or even worse. Don't get me wrong, FP was watchable, I only found the music unbearable at all...lol

I didn't like ADB, for the life of me I couldn't stop thinking: "*g*, that's just.... stupid"

So now I won't be wasting my time even trying to watch this Rage of the Yeti.... But it makes me angry, you know? This very thought that such great actors waste their time and potential on such idiotic productions/roles, why? Why does it all always have to be about the money? David is an amazing actor, right? Why can't he take some MEANINGFUL part for a change????

Joe at least had GDFI..... *sighs*

And thanks for letting us know.
