Almost Classy since 1959

Some of y'all know that I participated in the remixredux09 this year and I just finished the story that was written for me and I'm without speech, it's so awesome.

They remixed my story Boys Gone Wild and it's called The Roadtrip Remix and please, go read it, bookmark it and worship it. It's written from Rodney's POV and it's a true road trip story - it follows Rodney from Boulder all the way down to South Padre Island and back (with John!) and it's full of hotness and sweetness and so many good things.

But also, how FUN! 'Cause cliches I can do, baby, all day long!

Just for the hell of it, in hopes that posting these snippets will force me for finish them!

1.This is what they fight the Wraith and the Ori and G’oald for, so that the CEO of one technologies firm can jostle the shoulder of a World Bank exec while they stand in line for cocktail weenies. This sounds all grim and serious but really, it's just an excuse for John to be all jealous over Rodney's attention to Sam Carter, which spurs him into porny action.

2. While Woolsey’s voice drones on, John’s thoughts drift, to the remote control cars that haven’t been used in weeks and he gets a weird feeling in the pit of his stomach that he tries to relieve by switching positions in his chair. This is the one I'm working on most consistently right now. It's S5 unhappy John, trying to deal with the romance between Rodney and Keller.

3.His voice is still on the thin side; the doctors say it will improve over time and Rodney is impatient for that day to arrive.

4.. There’s a little dot of marinara at the corner of Rodney’s frowning mouth and John thinks about leaning over and licking it off but he has a feeling that won’t go over so well tonight.
These are two things I'm planning for the next casa_mcshep challenge. Domestic stuff.

5. They enter the building and walk straight into a wall of lavender scented air that’s approximately 25 degrees cooler than any air they’ve encountered since they landed.
An AU, where Radek and Rodney's boss, Teyla, sends them to a spa to recenter their energies and
synchronize their potential.(and I totally made that up) :) While there, they run into some familiar faces doing some unfamiliar things.

6. Miko is his teaching assistant, his shining star, the most brilliant student he’s ever had under his tutelage and fully half the reason he’s still at Middleburn. My huge, super-sekrit AU that scares me to death but that I am compelled to work on anyway. About a Rodney who hasn't had the brilliant career that he always expected to have - and how he finds love and success in the last place he ever thought to look.
