This Will Be My Monument by @sister-dear is one of my #1 go to fics when I am sad. It’s a little more popular so y’all’ve probably read this one already but I think after contributing 25% of the page views I owed a lil piece of art.
This is so incredibly sweet, thank you so much! I love how tender it looks! All of them, the colors and the way you drew their hair is lovely, but especially Hyrule! that little smile and the gentle hand on Legend’s head just so perfectly capture the mood. Something about Legend’s rings visibly sitting there in his hat, too. And the kind words are a treat all their own!
Time saw it happen. The long wind up. The flash off sunlight off something small and round and far too bomb-like for comfort. The visible coil of muscles as the Moblin prepared to throw.
(Sky gets caught by the fantasy equivalent of a frag grenade, and everyone else reacts.)
An expansion on three of the Febwhump fills! The fills for "shrapnel," "shower (bath) breakdown," and "muffled screams" were all related and this is the result of y'all encouraging me to make them into a full story.
Contains: Linked Universe Ensemble cast, whump, hurt/comfort, shrapnel wounds, mental breakdown, and a healthy dose of care and comfort at the end.
@secretlysheikah and @wolfwarden you both expressed interest in seeing any expansions for this. <3

Not to put too fine a point on it but omg. Omfg. Karo I was so so so not expecting this and you knocked it out of the park omg! This story just shot to the top of the to-write list. Just. The slumped posture, the down-turned ears, the colors and the pink in the water and! You captured the tone of this so perfectly I’m in awe.

Handle With Care by sister_dear - Four lets Sky in on one of his secrets. Too bad it’s it less than ideal circumstances.
Thank you for the boost! <3 Gosh yes please if anyone else has written stories focused on this I would love to read them, it’s a personal favorite headcanon for Sky but stories that focus on it are thin on the ground! That said, I do have a few more to recommend!
There is of course chapter 9 of Down by RockettoMusashi. If you’re a Sky fan or a sickfic fan or just like a really good LU found family story and haven’t read this yet this is a hint that you should go read this.
There’s also Catch Your Breath by TravellingVisitor! Sky and some of the others have an encounter with a Lynel on the Great Plateau and Sky’s asthma kicks in with unfortunate timing.
And this one’s short but sweet! A quick little character piece where Sky has asthma but doesn’t know the word for it and the chain helps him out. Breathe by cjserif.

Karo I’m still not over this! It’s so dang pretty! I can’t believe you drew something for one of my stories ahhhhhhhh! The texture of the scarf is so lovely. And the wings! There are so many details in the wings! The lines of the ‘veins’ running through them, and the layers of translucence, and how they really do look like they were just… crumpled. I love how soft and feathery the antenna look, too. And you are always so good at drawing hair and faces, the expression and the way his hair looks like the right kind of wavy are so good. Thank you again. <3

Common themes in my writing include found family, illness, recovery, and queer characters. These stories tend to run heavy on the happy endings and finding hope.

This is fanart for @sister-dear’s fic My Heart’s Forsaken Me. I love the fic so much! There are so many good scenes to choose from when it comes to drawing. However, I especially enjoyed the juxtaposition of this scene where Wars is trying to have a serious conversation with Sprite and Link and Four are just,, lighting fires in the background.

Oh - oh my gosh. Oh my gosh? Pardon me but what oh my word this is beautiful. Help I can’t stop watching it. I am stunned this is so wonderful thank you so much.
I love how Four’s hair just goes fwoosh in front of his face. How he’s holding his hands! He just looks so uncomfortably wet it’s beautiful oh my gosh. And then his wide-eyed look after hahaha! And Link’s fire spell pose! And Sprite’s face the poor boy you did a beautiful job on his expression. How he’s not wanting to look Warriors in the face and you can SEE it. He looks ready to cry especially in that last panel. Warriors’ hand on his arm. 😭 Meanwhile Link’s in the background all “yeah let me just throw some magic around and get us dry.” Flicking his hands like “blegh wet.” Qkdjdhakaf You captured the scene beautifully!
I love your art so much, you do such cute comics with such wonderful body language. This is such a wonderful treat I can’t thank you enough.
