Heaven is the home of God and his son Jesus Christ. It is a place where people go when they die if they have been good in life. Homer has visited the location on occasion, usually in dream sequences. In "Bart Gets Hit By a Car", after Bart died, he saw Hortense Simpson, Orville Simpson and Snowball I.
In "Homer the Heretic", Homer and God walk in Heaven, while in the background Jimi Hendrix and Benjamin Franklin play ping pong.
In "Dog of Death", Homer, believing that Santa's Little Helper will die, tells Bart and Lisa about "Doggie Heaven". Bart responds by asking if there's a Doggie Hell, and Homer affirms.
In "The Father, the Son and the Holy Guest Star", Homer and Bart convert to Catholicism. Marge, who is a Protestant, imagines herself dying and going to Protestant Heaven, while Homer and Bart go to Catholic Heaven.
One couch gag features Santa's Little Helper trying to become fit enough to go to "Fit Dog Heaven".
