I've been wanting to make this post for days, but I still haven't found that nice balance between RL and keeping up with you guys over here. :/ I've also fallen behind with watching SPN. I'm now 4 eps behind. I want to try and catch up this week and not fall behind even further, but I'm not sure I can find the energy. Anyway...

I had a birthday about 3 weeks ago, and I wanted to thank everyone who left me a message of some sort. A big thanks is going towards beelikej who sent me a box filled with awesome presents. <3

I also want to thank milly_gal, hugemind, meus_venator, kalliel, stir_of_echoes, zara_zee and gigis89 for their lovely LJ messages, and jdl71, supernutjapan, bflyw, casey28 and raloria for their LJ posts. <3

I also got some sweet messages on Twitter and Facebook. (Although I do love getting all these messages, I do long back to the time that actual birthdaycards were still a thing. I only got three this year, of which one was from work, and one I got from my youngest sister when she came to visit.)

The day itself was nice and relaxed. My youngest sister came to visist and we watched some Due South episodes. My other sister, her husband and my mom and dad visited the day before (which was a sunday). I'd baked an appelpie, and made some tomatosoup. It was also nice and relaxed. :)

Anyway, time to hit the hay. Love you all. <3

The day itself was pretty good. I never really celebrate, but I had my sister and her husband over, and my mom made applepie. It was really nice and low-key. :)

So last week I had a birthday! And then I had a very busy week and I didn't get to post about it until now. XD

I had a pretty good day. My middle sister and her fiance came over, and in the evening my cousin and her 7 weeks old little one came by as well, so that was really nice. My mom baked applepie and cinnemon roles, and I got some nice presents and lots of happy birthdays through various social networks.

I got virtual gifts from the_rant_girl and somer. Thank you ladies! <3

I got a few great LJ messages from milly_gal, meus_venator, kalliel, stir_of_echoes and hugemind. <3

There were also some Lj posts for me, from supernutjapan (who gave me some Jensen eyecandy), beelikej (who did a Supernatural/CSI cross over for me), amberdreams (who very sweetly recced some of my art here <3), fub, zara_zee, casey28 (who gave some some cuddly J2), roxymissrose, raloria, dizzojay (who made a pretty Jensen card, sw0rdy and aprilmay430.

bflyw sent me a lovely mail. I also got some lovely messages from some of you over Twitter, and Facebook. Thanks! (I hope I didn't forget to mention anyone. If I did... sorry!)

So, last Thursday it was my birthday. Didn't do anything special because I had to work all day, and I never really celebrate it anyway, but it sure was lovely coming home to all the love from you guys. <3

So, I feel like after last nights post, that I should mention that for the biggest part, I love the SPN fandom. But like family, sometimes you just get frustrated/ angry/ annoyed. Just so you all know, I think my flist is pretty damn awesome for the biggest part. <3

ANYWAY. Last week was my birthday, and I got some pretty great presents and I'd thought I'd share some pictures.

As you can see, I've been spoiled. <3

So my birthday was yesterday, but I didn't get to really do anything because I had to work all day. When you're not used to 9 hour shifts, they're extra tiring. Especially 9 hours without a break, with 25 noisy, loud kids around you. So after diner I crashed and fell asleep on the couch. XD Def. partying it up huh? :')

Anyway. I made cupcakes on sunday, and I got presents, so yay for that! :D

I'm free this coming Friday, and my sister sbslink will come to visit. I'm planning on making some more vegan cupcakes. On Saturday my grandpa turns 90 years old, and we're celebrating with pretty much the whole family, so that should be fun.

I'm being notoriously bad at updating my journal the last few months, but I really want to try to be better at it, so here we go.

* So it was my birthday yesterday. Had a nice relaxing day, unpacking presents and getting to play with them. :P My sister and her boyfriend came to visit on sunday, so that was nice. I made red velvet cupcakes (milk-free, of course.), and they where so yummy. Definitely have to make those again. Here, have some pictures:( Collapse )
Got some nice presents. I got myself a Nintendo 3DS xl as a present to myself, and from my parents I got 'The Legend of Zelda; Ocarina of Time. I think it's my all time favorite game, so I'm very happy to have it. :D If someone else on here has a 3DS, we should totally exchange friendcodes. :D
I got some money from my sisters, and I'm planning to buy The Essential Supernatural: On the Road with Sam and Dean Winchester from it.

* Finally went to see the Hobbit. I went with my mom, and we both loved it. I kinda fell in love with Kili (and also a little with Fili and Thorin. Yes, I know. I do know how to pick them, don't I?), and now I kinda can't stop reading fanfic. XD I'm having a bit of a hard time finding a lot though, so I'd love some recs. What I would really want to read, is some hurt!Kili, protective big bro Fili. Love me some hurt/comfort. :')

* Bought a new desk chair and cabinet for my room in december. I actually took pictures of the process of putting them together, and then didn't post them here even though I wanted to. So you're getting them now. :P

Before I forget... I got some late but awesome holiday cards in the mail this week. So thanks to missyjack (Wheeee, rainbow unicorn! \o/) and dauntdraws (Afgdh, I love that drawing, and bonus pony!Dean on the back!! \o/ <3). It definitely cheered me up when I could use some cheering up. :D

Secondly... as you might have noticed by now, I actually changed my username. :o I've thought long and hard, but really, I've never been really happy with the old name, so yeah. Not a big change, so I should get used to it soon. :)

With everthing that's going on, you'd almost forget it was my birthday today (..yesterday? :'3). It was okay. The situation with my mom (which I'll make a separate post about in the near future) made it a bit weird. She's home, btw. She's on tubefeeding though, but only in the evening and night. Other then that she's allowed to have thick liquids (like yogurt and soup and stuff). But it's weird when we're all eating cake and she's not allowed to have a piece. And she's only been home since wednesday, so things haven't entirely settled down yet.
But, she's home, and that's the most important thing. I baked a cake (cowmilk free red velvet. There'll be pictures later. :3), and later I picked up my granddad to have diner at our house.
I also got an awesome package from beelikej, filled with awesome presents. She also made me an awesome manip, which you can check out HERE. Thank you so much bb! *smishes* :D :D

Also, a big thanks to everyone who wished me a happy birthday. *smishes you all*
