Sweet wendy, I got your card this past week. It's was a pick-me-up that I really needed, so thank you bb. <3

I got myself a (android) tablet for my birthday and I've been really enjoying it. Been mostly playing the Sims FreePlay and CSI: Hidden Crimes (anyones else playing those games?), but I want to add some more apps. Any advice? Do you know an app or play a game that I should really check out? let me know!

I've been feeling off for weeks now. I can't really put my finger on what it is, but I just... feel out of touch with people? Or like an outsider no matter what I do? I don't know, it's hard to put into words and I don't know where it's coming from and it's annoying as fuck. Stupid brain. :/

Came across this article on Tumblr and found it a very interesting read. This is me. Maybe not all the points, but at least 12 of them are very recognizable; Especially points 4, 7 and 9.

15 Things You Need To Know About People Who Have Concealed Anxiety

1. They don’t hide their anxiety, they hide their symptoms. To have concealed anxiety isn’t to deny having it – only to do everything in your power to ensure other people don’t see you struggle.

2. They have the most anxiety about having anxiety. Because they are not comfortable letting people see them in the throes of an irrational panic, the most anxiety-inducing idea is… whether or not they’ll have anxiety at any given moment in time.

3. They come across as a paradoxical mix of outgoing but introverted, very social but rarely out. It is not that they are anti-social, just that they can only take being around others incrementally (which is mostly normal). Yet, on the surface, this may come across as confusing.

4. They make situations worse by trying to suppress their feelings about them. @ spn_j2_bigbang time is upon us! I've claimed a wonderful story, and now that the reveal has been posted, I can share with you what I'll be working on. :D This is my claim:

@ Another very exciting thing... The Jus In Bello convention is right around the corner! I'll be flying out to Rome this thursday. *hyperventilates a little* So excited, but nervous at the same time. I'm running around trying to get everything ready, and to make sure I won't forget anything. As you might be able to tell, I'm a bit of a nervous traveler. XD

* So yeah... still bad at updating. But now it has partially to do with my new job, and the fact that I have less time on the internet than I had. Me thinks it's time for my own laptop. And hey! I have the money to pay for one too now. :'3 Any suggestions of brands that are good?

& Talking about the new job... I'm enjoying it, even though I still need to adjust a bit to it all. The biggest point now is to find time for all my hobbies. Drawing seems to not to be happening, and that's just not right. Last drawing I did was the Castiel one, and my fingers are itching. Time management = not yet on track. :'3

# Tragedy struck when I was re-doing this bun, and one of my hairsticks broke. Apparently, thick long hair and plastic hairsticks don't combine to well. beelikej, when we go to Amsterdam, we need to hop into a Claire's, and look if they've got hairsticks made out of metal or wood.

Cellphones, definitely. People talking really loudly into them in inappropriate places, annoying ringtones, people who forget to turn them off at the movies/theater/etc...

But yeah. I got one too. Not that I call often, mind you.

* Got myself some nice stuff this past week. Last saturday I found out that our local DVD/CD/etc. shop had Ten Inch Hero, and apparently has had it since January. *facepalm* Anyway, got it now. I can has Priestly!Jensen. :D:D\o/ I also got myself an 8G mp4 player. Love it. I think I'll call it Dean. :'3 ( Collapse )

* As some of you might know, a plane crashed at Schiphol Airport. That's actually pretty close to our city, so some of the victims where transported to hour hospital. When I was visiting my mom, ambulances with police escorts arrived. It kind of gave me goosebumps.

* Our cat Anoek has been behaving like a loon this past week. I think she senses or notices that things are a little different right now. She's always been a nut, but she's acting especially weird now. Running across the room and chasing her own tail... ( Collapse )

This wonderful card is made by fub. Recognize that little dragon? Yes, it's the dragon tribal I drew not long ago. fub made an eraser-stamp out of it. I can't even explain how awesome this is. He sent me the eraser-stamp, so expect me to use it soon. :'3 <3<3

I don't know what it is lately, but suddenly my list is flooded with manipulation pictures. And bad ones at that too. You know... ones where the head is obviously from another person, because it's either to big, or has a slightly different color from the body... Or, ones where the expressions on their faces totally doesn't correspond with the activity they're doing.

I know manips are very, very hard to do right. But my fingers where itching, so I tried my hand at it. :'3

* For some reason, my feet are absolutely freezing, even though I'm wearing two pairs of socks. And it isn't even that cold in the room. Also? It seems that we have mice in our ceiling. I sometimes hear this noise of something chewing/munching on something, and it aren't our pet-rats. Goody.
