A long weekend review.
So this past weekend was a long weekend. ANd I did plenty of stuff to make it seem even longer!
Friday night I went to Rob's to play poker with the boys. I ended up losing about $100, which kinda sucked. But seeing as I have won big the last few times we have played, it evens out. That's all that happens when you play poker with the same group of people. The same money just keeps changing hands. After poker, I went to Dolphin with Pommy Mark, and organised my birthday party!
28th of Oct: Richard's Crappy Costume Halloween/Birthday Party.
@ Dolphin from 7:30pm.
The rules: You may not spend more than 1000 yen on your costume.
This way, you will have more money to buy me beer.
You're all invited.
Saturday, I went to Tokyo to hang out with Lee, his new girlf Itsuki, and her friend Chika.
We went to the Hard Rock Cafe in Ueno, and had an awesome time. We all laughed and laughed and laughed. Then we went to sing karaoke, and had a great time there too. I honestly haven't had so much fun, in a very very long time.
Chika is the smallest, cutest thing ever invented. She looks about 12, but is actually 29 (Same as me!) We got along really really well, and both decided it is a sad thing that we just met, and she is moving to Brisbane this coming weekend.
We have been emailing each other every day since, and she decided she is going to try to get down to Sydney for a few days while I am there over the Christmas/New Year break.
Looking forward to that!

I went back home at about six on Saturday evening. My friend Katsumi came over with her PS2 and we played games. I beat her in the Kanji knowledge one. Which was awesome, because she is Japanese. Hahah! She left about midnight.
I went to sleep, and got up at about nine, and was on the train back to Tokyo by ten, for my date with Midori. Which was a shitty time, Midori is small and cute too, she looks about 14, but is 29 also (I am concerned... I think Japan is turning me into a peadophile!) Unlike Chika, she is not fun. She is annoying and jealous/crazy. We went to the movies. (Movies are good, because you don't have to talk to the person). She wanted to see "World Trade Center." But I said I wouldn't see that, so we ended up watching X-Men 3 instead. Unfortunately we had to wait for three hours for the movie to start, so we ended up having lunch, and then just wandering around the shops. (I spent a good half hour in the Lego shop though).
Somehow, we "randomly" ran into one of her friends and her new boyfriend. So we had to have coffee with them. I was a bit pissed off, because instead of talking to me, they just talked about me, in Japanese. At one point Midori's friend asked her how old I am, Midori said how old to do you think he is? She answered, somewhere around 35? I looked at her and said (In Japanese) "No, you are very wrong! I am 29!" Then they all realised that I was able to understand everything they were saying, and they were rightly embarrassed.
So then we went to see the movie. Sunday evening I was meant to go to the Cosmos Festival in Okabe, with Katsumi and Megumi. But it was very windy, so Katsumi called me to tell me that it had been canceled, and that they were going to go to the movies instead. To see X-Men 3. I explained that I had just seen it, so I would catch up with them another time.
Midori got the shits because another girl had called me. By this stage it was dinner time, so we had dinner together, and that was very boring.
I won't see her again.
Yesterday was a public holiday, so I slept in, then I played computer games at Lee's house, and after that I went out to dinner with Yukako.
Yukako and I are getting along better than ever now. We had a lovely time, and both ended up in fits of laughter several times over. We went to our usual cafe, and I'm sure the staff there now think we are the weirdest couple in all of Honjo.
Oh well, I don't care!
The End.
