Quick update.
I gave my farewell speech at my visit school on Monday.
It was all in Japanese, and heavy with bad puns. The teachers thought it was pretty good, but I don't think the students were too interested. I figured that out when I had this conversation with one of the girls on the bus, shortly after:
Her: Good speech Lichaado.
Me: Thanks! Did you like my jokes?
Her: I don't know. I don't understand English.
Me: I was speaking Japanese....
Her: Were you???
Hmm
As an end of year project, one of our students made a deck of cards by drawing caricatures of all the teachers (above) can you guess which one I am?
Other than that, I haven't been doing much. THE GLANGE is still making me feel a bit shit. Spending a lot of time in bed etc. I'm getting better though.
I'm off to Fukushima tonight, to help Warabi High School with their annual English camp. It's taking place here. Looks pretty awesome. I hope I won't be too tired to participate fully in everything.
Anyhow, I'd better go pack.
Here are the rest of the playing cards, for your perusal.
