SummaryThis time the game takes place across a great expanse of time and space, making for greatly diverse level designs, which in turn keep the game fresh.

As some would argue, the best 2.5D platformer ever released. [Nov 2001, p.40]

A wonderfully presented game that truly goes beyond anything you are likely to find in this genre for any system. The sheer brilliance in the level designs and gameplay are sure to keep you coming back for more.

I think Crash 2 is reasonably medium acceptable in terms of difficulty in these levels.

Crash Bandicoot: Warped feels like that perfect mix of chaos and control — fast, colorful, and full of energy. Every level throws something new at you, whether it’s running, riding, flying… it never gets boring.
The controls feel tight, the music is super catchy, and the whole vibe is just iconic. It’s one of those games you can pick up anytime and instantly have a good time.
And its obviously the best crash Game of the original Trilogy.

I was very impressed with the programmers' willingness to try something new and different. It's something that is tough to do when you have a franchise that is as popular as Crash.

Easily the best Crash yet. Every aspect of the game is better: new moves, levels, bosses, graphics, sound, and gameplay. It's the most fun I've had with a 3D platform game in a long, long time.

It’s too short. Sure, there are twenty-five levels plus hidden areas and bosses, but they're limited to variations on about five different time periods, and they’re very short.

So impressive to watch that you'll have to keep one hand firmly below your chin to keep it from falling to the floor.

I enjoyed Crash's new abilities (extended jumps, spins and that extremely useful bazooka). I just wish the platform jumping elements in Crash 3 were as original and exciting of the motorcycle, jet-ski and biplane sequences.

Definitely the strongest game out of the series by far, having introduced new mechanics, a great story once again and also really great animations!

Deceptively imprecise platforming, due to the controls and the camera angle. By today's standards a short and clichéd game. Classic mechanics perform as expected, few surprises for those familiar with the genre. Compared to the newer Rayman or Mario games, this old PS1 'gem' is just way less fun. And fun is the only thing it aims for. Unless it meant to be that frustrating.
