Takashida was a 23rd century Human man who served in Starfleet as a security guard aboard the USS Enterprise in the 2270s under the command of James T. Kirk.
History
In 2274, Captain James T. Kirk requested a security detail beam down to Sarsithia when Isoth Fortress was breached by a force of scavengers. Sergeant Umeki and guards Takashida, Gomez, and Smith were on duty in the security stand-by lounge, and they transported down with Security Chief Pavel Chekov to defend the citadel. When the intruders spotted General Onoth in the fortress, however, they panicked, and he shot them before they could surrender.
Later, chemical interactions gave Christine Chapel amnesia and drove her into a frenzied panic. She unexpectedly punched Kirk and laid out one of the three guards, then scattered them with a phaser blast. The team tracked her to a spaceport, but she escaped in a transport before they could apprehend her. (TOS comic: "Quarantine")
