In the first place, having the guts to name your hero Fergus Ferguson brings me joy. Now, she's started a new series which looks equally interesting.

Date: 2026-05-24 04:44 pm (UTC)He came home and started reading the book again and he said he found it tedious because it waited so long to get to the meat of the story. So - he said he thought the movie made good choices in getting to the heart of the story more quickly.

Date: 2026-05-24 09:51 pm (UTC)I read Project Hail Mary a few years back and since the movie was pretty faithful to it I basically knew all the plot and didn't find anything surprising but that didn't bother me. I actually vastly prefer the movie because I found Grace in the book annoying as a narrator. Ryan Gosling charmed me as I hoped.
