Turns out the feeling I got from the movies that Aragon and Legolas have been friends for a long time, has no real base in canon of the books... Well, there's no real evidence that they hadn't met before Rivendell either, so I guess I'm safe enough. I'll make sure to note the story is set in the movie verse.
Not much writing has happened, but the story is on my mind, and in my imagination a lot is going on ;)
