Went to the cinema with Chris on Monday.
Due to our timemissmanagement we missed the first 5 minutes, but had no trouble following the plot afterwards.

All in all I did like it, though I do acknowledge some issues that people have brought up.
It had some awesome Erik/Charles scenes, some awesome Wolverine ones, an awesome Mystique, as Chris remarked, the plot was pretty stupid and I want lots and lots of mansion-fic out of this one.
I did like First Class better, because mostly it had Erik being "evil" for a reason or rather, the reasoning here was there, but it was glossed over and fell by the wayside.

This is my Erik Lehnsherr/Charles Xavier (and also Charles/Erik) reclist. Mostly from the "First Class"-movie, but of course, many stories also have Comicverse thrown in and/or stuff from X-Men 1-3 and Origins. 
I'm not going to make a note of that as often I don't even know, as I'm not that familiar with comicverse. Please refer to the tags the author used on the strory in question.

despite never having taken part in a bigbang before or ever writing even close to 15,000 words. Not even close to 10,000.

I have a (typical romantic comedy, predictable, tropeful, the-kind-I-love-to-read) plot figured out -at least I think so, but that is probably more than 15,000 words long. Waahh!

Also can one participate in a Bigbang and request not to have an artist assigned? I'll probably have to ask the mods...
If I default, all the shame is on me, but to do that to your artist... I can't have that addded pressure.
But I know that if I try to write that without a publishing deadline, there is now way, I'll finish.
And I really want to write in this fandom.
