Star Wars - Fic recs
Me being late to the party has the advantage of having 40 years (!) of fanworks to catch up on but the distinct disadavantage of many of them being pre-multimedia age, so they are either hard to find or lost forever. Some are only still there because such amazing things as the waybackmachine exist.
So here, have my rec list for Star Wars. Mostly Original Trilogy with some Rogue One thrown in because that is where my heart lies. Not sorted in any particular order.

My notes:a bit cracky of course but still so very delightful and even absolutely plausible (if you can headcanon that Darth Vader is not always murdering everybody on sight and actually respects competency. Although the last one is actually canon) ! I love fics like these!

My notes: Luke is about 10 in this one and he is perfect! Do not let that age deter you. I am not a fan of kid!fic either but sometimes there are gems and this is one of those.
I haven't yet read the interludes but please make sure to read the sequels! So many feels! The only tiny quibble I had with them was that the Emperor is an idiot in this one if he can't see where this is going. But for the sake of the story *waves hands*.

This is the most AU I've ever read. But the characters are still recognisable. The Han/Luke friendship is beautiful. Everything hurts so much and everything is still beautiful and you can't stop reading.

My notes: This is actually not THAT good a fic. There are huge problems with it and Luke is quite OOC. BUT it's one of the few really LONG fics I've found and has a few scenes I like. So this is here more for the sake of me not losing the link ;-)
