I really loved Dead Man's Letters and was excited to see what he could do with a much longer runtime and I don't think I'm very satisfied with the answer. Still crazy good visuals and lighting but got a bit repetitive after a while
The offscreen body count of this movie is pretty insane once you start paying attention to the news stories in the background. What we are shown directly is fine, decent action movie with a good lead character and every other character in the movie being probably a little under replacement level
Unwatchable dogshit you can't look away from because you are excited to see how horrible it gets, and boy does it reach levels of awful that feel wholly unique. This is an incredibly bad movie, if you feel like you are too positive on movies and your ratings trend too high give this a watch to re-center yourself.
