I always just assumed this was another historical movie that came out around the turn of the century and never gave it any thought. I was pleasantly surprised upon actually watching the movie. Crowe makes me want to go sailing. Maybe do some brain surgery.
Pretty much the definition of the “thriller” genre.

White man knows everything and gets himself shot for it. Harrison Ford is very unlikeable, which is really hard to do. Not a good look for him and I can see why he went back to being awesome.
I believe this was the Final Cut.
Outstanding. The sound and music did a great job of setting the tone. It felt like a very extravagant film, but in the right way. Overly violent and psychotic, but with a point.
