Breaking up is hard to do.
Not that I have any cause to implement this now or in the near future, certainly, but because it came up on one of my long walks and it's never occurred to me before (hence the not having any cause to implement it now or in the near future), what the hell is the best way to break up with someone? I mean, okay, by email is normally how I do my everything but really, that's a no; the phone, also generally out, or so I am told. Breaking up in a public place is such a bad idea, right? If it were me, the "I no longer want your brand of crazy in my yard" talk getting done in a coffee shop or at the movies would sort of break my spirit, as I do not want to share any sort of reaction that would follow with any other people. At all. Ever.
At your own house seems like a "Hey, don't want to date you anymore, go home!" and that's rude, and at the other person's house is also problematic since it is possible they may fly into a rage and murder you, and no one will ever know. Or throw boiling water on your face. Or sic their enormous rottweiler on you.
So, aside from how dating people with a rottweiler is just a bad idea, and aside from how I know breaking up with someone is just a bad idea in general and is never going to go well, what the hell, is there any right way to eat this Reese's?
You could change your name and move to a foreign country. But eventually you may run out of foreign countries. And/or names.
