Awww...devoted dogs for the win!
My mother vetoed the flat that I wanted on the grounds that it's in an area where people get stabbed quite often... but would I get stabbed if I had a devoted bull mastiff to defend my house and person? No, I wouldn't.
*sigh*
I really miss having a dog.
