I'm afraid I've fallen hopelessly behind on the ![[community profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/community.png)
milk_and_orchids Nero Wolfe reread. I tried to get Some Buried Caesar from the library on my way home from work, only to discover that Central is closed for a "Spring Holiday." Sigh. Even if it wasn't there is no way I'll be able to reread in time to add anything to the conversation. At this point I might as well stick with At Swim, Two Boys. I bought a secondhand copy from The Winding Stair and started it on the flight back from Ireland. I wasn't really expecting to be moved by it, seeing as I read it in 2002 and it didn't make much of an impression on me...

It seems a little bit silly to say that four days in Ireland made such a difference, but, whatever, if people aren't allowed to be touched by their experiences they might as well stay home.
Anyway, right now my plan is to make a pot of coffee and spend the afternoon reading until it is time to go climbing. &hearts
