I had another great day! I went to the Hugh Lane and saw Francis Bacon's studio. From there I went to the Irish Museum of Modern Art and the Kilmainham Gaol. It was terrific, but tiring. I only just got back to the hostel, put some soup on to heat up in the kitchen,...and then my mood crashed.

Logically I know this is probably a side effect of:

a) Too much walking and not enough eating
b) Too much excitement and not enough sleeping
c) Sampling Druid's Celtic Cider*

So I will spare the internet the three pathetic paragraphs I wrote out describing how sad and unloved I sometimes feel. Stuff like that never makes anyone love you more, it just makes people feel guilty and then they resent you for it. It's not very mature either, so I think I'll just call it a night.

*Why have I never learned my lesson for trying things just because I've never seen them before? Seriously, if an alcohol product retails for an entire euro less than the next brand, it isn't very likely to be good, now is it?

May sleep help. And I hope you are back in enjoying-Ireland mode tomorrow. That is all sounding really cool, and I am jealous!
