Title: Skinny Dipping House: Gryffindor Word Count: 100 Characters/Pairings: Remus, James, Sirius Author's Notes: This is my first post here.
The air was frigid and Remus could feel it clinging to his skin, like a shirt three sizes too small. He was regretting having come along with the other marauders that night, and so were his violently shivering limbs. The lake was looking at him; its stare seemed threatening.
“Come on!” James called, ripping off his underwear and standing naked on the grounds, grinning. Sirius had gotten naked first, and he was already running toward the shore of the lake unabashedly.
“Fuck it all,” Remus grumbled, stripping and following Sirius. The air was cold, but the water was even colder.

Title: She's Perfect House: Gryffindor Word Count: 100 Challenge: Help Characters/Pairings: James, Sirius Author's Notes: Two times in as many weeks! I guess I'm in a playful mood, because like last week I felt like taking a little dig at the characters.
"Don't get your hopes up, mate. She'd skin you alive soon as look at you." Sirius peeled the rind of his orange back, paying what seemed to be too much attention to getting every bit of the zest off of it.
"But she's perfect," James pouted. "She hates me! I need to get her to like me, but all you can do is crack jokes." He pointed his wand and the orange in Sirius's hand turned into a rather startled, orange-colored tweety bird. "You could help, y'know."
Sirius grinned wickedly and said, "Thought I was, mate... Thought I was."

“And I don’t w-want… Ah-choo!”
“Gesundheit,” Lily drawled, leafing through her summer reading.
“And I don’t want you near that James Potter!”
“It’s not me!” Lily said, exasperatedly, “He – hang on, you know James?”
“Don’t know what he means by it!” sniffed Rose Evans, “Owl feathers all over my kitchen! And the…p – pollen…Ah-CHOO!”
“Gesundheit,” Lily repeated, “What are you on about?”
“Sends me a hundred bloody roses!” Rose sniffled, “With a hundred bloody owls! More money than Midas…only after one thing…butter me up, will you?…You stay clear of him, Lily! The boy’s bad news!”
Title: Traitor's Circle House: Gryffindor Rating: PG-13 (adult language) Characters: Harry and Hermione Challenge: Circle of Life Word Count: 100 A/N: Oh, man, do I wish.
They poured over the maps, checking and memorizing every tiny detail. Contingency plans were drawn up, escape routes memorized, wands checked for maximum effectiveness.
On the way to the Dark Lord’s lair, Harry grabbed him and threw him against the wall, digging his wand deep into the man’s throat, “If you have betrayed us…”
“Leave him alone, Harry.” Hermione pulled on Harry’s hand, “He is completing his circle. He will not betray us.”
Harry scowled, “And if he has?”
Hermione grinned evily, “The Fates are a bitch and so am I. Trust me, Harry, Peter won’t live to regret it.”
Title: Complete the Circle House: Gryffindor Rating: PG-13 (adult language) Characters: Theodore and his father Challenge: Circle of Life Word Count: 100 A/N: Just tormenting Theo some more...
“I brought you into this world, boy, and I will take you out of it!”
Theodore bitterly stared at his father, “Go ahead.”
“Don’t push me, boy.”
“What’s the matter, father? Don’t have the guts to do it?” Theodore laughed, softly, “That didn’t stop you when you killed my mother.”
“I didn’t kill her.”
Theodore glared his father into silence, “Don’t bother denying it, father. You killed her, just the same as if you’d slit her wrists yourself. So, go on, you bastard. Complete the circle.”
When his father stormed from the room, Theodore whispered, “That’s what I thought, father.”

Title: Double Trouble House: Gryffindor Rating: PG Characters: Sirius and James Challenge: Direction Word Count: 100 A/N: Eh, not canon. Well, it could be, I suppose. The prof isn't named because I was thinking it was the Slytherin head of house but I don't think we know who that is yet.
"Exactly how are we supposed to follow instructions, Professor," James snarled, throwing his quill down in exasperation with the Professor, "when you keep erasing the directions off the board before we can copy them."
The Professor walked over slowly, crowding James in his seat. "This is your N.E.W.T. year, Mr. Potter. I strongly suggest that you figure that one out for yourself."
As he walked away, Sirius whispered, "He is a cranky git today."
"I heard that, Mr. Black." The Professor smiled coldly at them, "Maybe you would like to help your friend figure out what to do. In detention."
Title: A Wedding House: Gryffindor Rating: PG Characters: Theodore/Pansy Challenge: Direction Word Count: 100 A/N: Wrote this one damn near backwards. Tell me if you like it.
Swallowing hard, he stood there, somehow, watching her float down the aisle, heading toward him. She had never looked more beautiful in her entire life, nor more untouchable.
Meeting her gaze, he watched as she flushed, losing her composure for a second. Not that it mattered, it only enhanced her beauty.
As the ceremony started, Theodore wished that he was anywhere but here, standing up for Draco. She had begged him not to, even though Draco asked him to attend.
But, he could never walk away from her. She was the compass point to which he fixed his tormented heart.
Title: All together Words: 100 House: The Noble and Moste Ancient House of Puff Challenge: Miss Characters: Harry, Sirius, ??
“So, what do you miss the most?”
Sirius smiled, “You of course. But I don’t have to worry about that anymore. How about you?”
“Ron and Hermione, definitely,” Harry said, “And Remus. And – well, all of them. All the friends I’ve made since I discovered I was a wizard.”
“Don’t worry, Harry,” Sirius beamed, “I’ve got you now, haven’t I? Eventually, we’ll all be together. And speaking of which…there’s some people here who have been missing you a very long time.”
Harry’s face split into a toothy, childlike grin, as he ran into the arms of his mother and father.
Title: In-Flight Entertainment Words: 100 House: :singing: “Puff the Magic Badger, lived in a den…” Challenge: Miss Characters: Trio Author Notes: Felt like something GOOD happening to them for once! This feels like the beginning of a ficlet. A very trite one, actually.
“Excuse me, miss? ‘Nother one of those, thank you.”
“Honestly, Ron, how many are you planning on having before we leave England?”
“It’s a long flight, Hermione! Besides, I’ll probably never fly first class again.”
Harry snuggled into his leather recliner, and tuned out Ron and Hermione comfortably. This trip to America was a dream come true. Hermione was delighted to be attending the Salem seminar, Ron was desperately looking forward to the Sidewinders match in the Grand Canyon, and Harry could put up with a few keynote addresses if it meant two weeks’ vacation with his two favorite people.
Title: Bludger to the Head Words: 100 Challenge: Quills Gone Wild House: Hufflepuff Characters: Lily, James, Madame Pomfrey Author Notes: In this case, Bludgers, stethoscopes, and heart rates are all behaving oddly!
Madame Pomfrey frowned, as she brusquely shoved aside James’s Quidditch robes, and put the cold stethoscope over his chest.
“Bloody muggle contraption,” she finally sighed. She took out her wand, and with a quick flick at James’s chest, a quiet ticking noise could be heard.
“Hmm.”
“He’ll be alright, won’t he?” Lily asked, near tears despite herself, and unaware that she was still gripping his hand tightly.
“He’ll be fine,” Madame Pomfrey said cryptically, shining wand-light in his eyes, “Heart rate is a bit elevated, but I doubt that’s connected to the head trauma...”
