Vertical Cleave is a Blue Magic spell learned from Euvhi. It deals moderate single-target slashing damage, but misses somewhat often. Damage varies with TP. It costs 3 Blue Magic Points to set. When set, it grants VIT +1, HP -5, and MP +5. It bypasses Utsusemi, but can be absorbed by Blink. It takes .5 seconds to cast and can be recast every 37.5 seconds. It can be paired with certain spells to create the Defense Bonus job trait.
Vertical Cleave is also an enemy ability used by the Euvhi family.
