Jet Stream (ジェットストリーム, Jetto Sutorīmu?) is a Blue Mage spell from Final Fantasy XI. It is learned from Bat Trio enemies, dealing a threefold attack for 47 MP. The spell accuracy varies with the caster's TP. It takes 0.5 seconds to cast and can be recast every 23 seconds.
Use
Jet Stream costs 4 Blue Magic Points to set. When set, it grants a bonus of DEX +2 to the player. In addition, when paired with either Feather Storm or Hydro Shot, it can create the Rapid Shot job trait for the player's Blue Mage.
Once learned, Jet Stream is an excellent ability to use for a damage oriented Blue Mage when doing leveling and early expansion storylines. When used in conjunction with Bludgeon, Screwdriver, and Uppercut, a Blue Mage can unleash heavy damage to regular leveling mobs. However, once the player reaches level 99 on the job, Jet Stream becomes replaceable by later Blue Magic spells.

Jet streams are fast flowing, narrow, meandering air currents found in the atmosphere of some planets, including Earth.
