The Silk Robe (シルクのローブ, Shiruku no Robu?), also known as Silken Robe, is a recurring armor piece in the Final Fantasy series. It is often a low-ranked armor piece that provides magical bonuses, but it sometimes makes the user weak to fire-elemental attacks.

The Silk Robe is a low-ranked robe that provides +4 Defense, +6 Magic Defense, and +16 Magic Evasion, with a Weight of 2. It can be found in Walse Tower, and bought in Karnak for 500 gil. It can be equipped by White Mages, Black Mages, Time Mages, Summoners, Blue Mages, Red Mages, Chemists, Geomancers, Bards, Dancers, Oracles, Cannoneers, Necromancers, and Mimes.

Simple, lightweight silken robe.Description

The Silk Robe is a low to mid-ranked armor that Terra, Strago, Celes, Relm, Mog, and Gogo can use. It provides +39 Defense, +29 Magic Defense, and +1 Magic. It can be bought in the World of Balance from Narshe (before acquiring the Blackjack), Nikeah, and Kohlingen for 600 gil. The Silk Robe is also part of Relm's initial equipment.

The Silk Robe is a low-ranked robe only the mages can equip. It provides +16 Defense, +2 Magic Defense, +1 Strength and Magic level up bonus, and increases the amount of damage taken from Fire-elemental attacks. It teaches the support abilities Ability Up and Loudmouth.

The Silk Robe can be found in Cleyra's Trunk (by recruiting Quina, watching their ATEs in Cleyra, and then meeting them at the antlion's pit in Cleyra), obtained from Quale by catching nine frogs with Quina, and can also be synthesized at Black Mage Village (before entering the Shimmering Island portal)), Alexandria, Treno (after visiting the Outer Continent in the story), Lindblum (second storyline visit onwards), and Daguerreo for 2,000 gil, a Silk Shirt and a Bandana.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

The Silk Robes is a low-ranked armor for Kytes. It provides +10 Defense and +20 Magick Defense. It is found in a treasure in mission 2-2 and can be bought in Tomaj's Sky Saloon shop in Chapter 3 for 800 gil.

The silken robe (Silk Robe in the PlayStation version) is a low-ranked robe that can be bought from various outfitters from chapter 1 for 2,400 gil, after events at the Lenalian Plateau. It is also won as a trophy for defeating Milleuda Folles at the Lenalian Plateau, and found as a rare treasure in Ziekden Fortress. It provides +20 HP and +16 MP. Randomly-equipped enemy units who can wear robes may spawn with the silken robe on levels 5 and 10.
