The Lordly Robes, also known as Lordly Robe, Robe of Lords (ローブオブロード, Robu obu Lōdo?), Robe of the Lord, Monarch's Robe, or Lord's Robe, is usually the ultimate piece of armor for spellcaster classes in the Final Fantasy series. It usually provides average defense, but provides a huge boost to magic stats.

Final Fantasy

The Lordly Robes are available in the Final Fantasy 20th Anniversary release. They grant 37 Defense, 5 Evasion, 1 Weight, 20 Intelligence, and they regenerate 10% of the max HP of their wearer at the end of the party's turn. They are one of the possible rewards for defeating Chronodia, and they serve as exclusive armor for the White Wizard (in which they are also the most powerful body armor the White Wizard can equip).

Final Fantasy IV

Robe resistant against fire, ice, and lightning.Description

The Robe of Lords only appears in the Advance and Complete Collection versions. It provides 19 Defense, 18 Magic Defense, 5 Evasion, 15 Magic Evasion, +10 Stamina and Spirit, and elemental resistance against fire, ice and lightning. It can be found in the Cave of Trials. It can only equipped by Porom.

Final Fantasy IV: The After Years

The Robe of Lords provide 19 Defense, 18 Magic Defense, 10 Stamina, 10 Spirit, 5 Evasion, and 16 Magic Evasion. It also grants resistance to all elements. It can be found in the Depths of the True Moon. It is worn by Cecil, Ceodore, Rosa, Porom, or Leonora.

Final Fantasy V

Wondrous robe for true masters of magic.Description

The Robe of Lords give +1 to Magic and have 18 Defense, 22 Magic Defense, 24 Magic Evasion and 2 Weight. It can be found in the Lethe Court section of the Sealed Temple, a bonus dungeon in the Advance and discontinued 2013 versions. It can be equipped by White Mages, Black Mages, Time Mages, Summoners, Blue Mages, Red Mages, Chemists, Geomancers, Bards, Dancers, Oracles, Cannoneers, Necromancers and Mimes.

Final Fantasy IX

Main article: Robe of Lords (Final Fantasy IX)

The Robe of Lords teaches Reflect-Null and Concentrate and immunizes against Wind.

It can be equipped by Dagger, Vivi, Eiko, and Quina, the party's spellcasters. It can be stolen from Hades, Ozma, and Quale, bought for 10,000 points in Chocobo Hot and Cold, received as a prize if the player delivers twelve Stellazzio coins to Queen Stella, and synthesized from a White Robe and a Black Robe in the Legendary Synthesis Shop for 30,000 gil after Hades has been defeated.

Final Fantasy XII

Main article: Lordly Robes (Final Fantasy XII)

In the original version, Lordly Robes are the ultimate mystic armor, providing 40 Defense, 5 Strength, and 15 Magic Power. They are a rare treasure in the Henne Mines (Special Charter Dig) and the Subterra area of the Pharos. To equip them, the character needs to unlock the Mystic Armor 12 license on the License Board for 100 LP.

In the Zodiac versions, Lordly Robes are still the ultimate mystic armor, providing 61 Defense, 100 MP, 5 Strength, 15 Magick Power, and requiring the Mystic Armor 13 license for 110 LP. They can be found as a treasure in Henne Mines (Special Charter Shaft) and Cerobi Steppe (The Northsward), purchased through the Hunt Club sidequest, and rarely stolen from Ultima in Trial Mode Stage 95 and Zodiark in Stage 97. They can be equipped by the White Mage, Red Battlemage, Black Mage, and Bushi.

Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings

The Lordly Robes is Kytes's ultimate armor. It provides +50 Defense, +100 Magick Defense, and +5 to all other stats. It is acquired after clearing "Mission 79: Wings of Midnight".

The ultimate robe, the lordly robe (Robe of Lords on the PlayStation) provides automatic Protect and Shell status to the wearer as well as physical attack +2, magick power +1, 100 HP, and 80 MP. It can be found in the Midlight's Deep level "The Switchback" (VOYAGE) with Treasure Hunter, and in the rendezvous mission "Brave Story" in The War of the Lions version.

One of the hardier robes, the Lordly Robe teaches Absorb MP to Elementalists and Illusionists for 300 AP, and Last Quicken to Time Mages for 300 AP. It provides +28 Defense and +42 Resistance. It can be stolen from Babus during the battle against Exodus, obtained as a reward from the "Unlucky Star" dispatch mission, or obtained as a random reward for completing a mission.

Lordly Robe is a high-ranked robe, providing +30 Defense and +52 Resistance, and teaching Absorb MP to Illusionists and Green Mages. It can be bought for 14,800 gil in the shop after creating it in the Bazaar after using a High Arcana, Pink Tail, and Rainbow Thread.

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles

Lord's Robe is a crafting material, found in Moschet Manor after defeating the boss with a score of 106 or higher. It can be sold for 7,500 gil.

Lordly Roves is a level 90 robe that provides +2322 HP, +34 Bravery, and +7% Magic Defense. It can be obtained by trading 115,040 gil, Sage's Robe, Shiva's Veil, and Reaper's Hope x5.

Robe of Lords was a rarity 2 accessory that provided 10 HP, Magic, Defense, and Magic Defense, as well as an ability slot. It was used by Beowulf, and ultimately could be upgraded to rarity 6 to three variations.

Lordly Robe (FFT) was a robe that provided 45 DEF, 35 MAG, 35 SPR, Auto-Protect, and Auto-Shell. It was obtained as Alma's Trust Master.

Lordly Robes (FFBE) was a robe that provided 45 DEF, 65 MAG, 65 SPR, and restored 5% MP every turn. It was obtained from the Parameter Quests by completing a quest with an unit (excluding Guests) with a MAG stat of 2,000 or greater.
