The Fake Vault 13 is a small cave north-northwest of New California Republic in Fallout 2.
Background[edit]
The location of the cave can be learned from a holodisk that can be bought from Merk in the New California Republic town for $1,000. He claims the tape tells the location of the fabled Vault 13.[1][2]
Layout[edit]
It has the same layout as the cave outside of the actual Vault 13, but where the Vault door would be, there is only a dead end with a "construction zone" sign and some roadblocks.
Notes[edit]
One of the caverns used during random encounters has exactly the same layout, apart from construction signs.
