Mishka is a wolf serving as a guard dog on the Island in Fallout 4.
Background[edit]
Mishka is a tamed wolf owned by Erickson at Horizon Flight 1207. She can be purchased by the player character for caps. She can then be sent to any settlement and will give defense points to that settlement, and she will fight any attackers.
She provides 8 points of defense to the settlement she is sent to, which is more than the dogs in Wasteland Workshop. Unlike other dogs, she does not increase settlement happiness.

Notes[edit]
- Possibly at higher levels, Mishka and her replacements can spawn as a glowing wolf.
- When bought from Erickson, she is replaced a week later by another wolf with a randomly selected name.

In Russian, the word Mishka (Мишка) is used to refer to a bear - medved (Медведь), mostly meaning the friendly one or even a toy, as well as a nickname of the name Michael - Mikhail (Михаил). For example: Teddy bear - plyushevyy mishka (плюшевый мишка).
