Oceanarium

The Oceanarium is a location on the Island in Fallout 4.

Background[edit]

The location served as a small museum before the war, operating on the northern coast of Mount Desert Island. Its sign advertises lobsters, whales, a hatchery, and swamp tours available for all ages.

Layout[edit]

The complex is overlooking the ocean. It is two wrecked single-story buildings housing a destroyed marine museum. It features a few display cases and a large Skeleton on the roof. There is also a small outhouse located just beside the main building. A Mattress can be found in a trailer nearby. There is a Safe in the destroyed boat on the beach behind the complex. A Hermit Crab can be found west of the oceanarium on a portion of a broken bridge.

Appearances[edit]

The Oceanarium appears in the Fallout 4 DLC Far Harbor.

Behind the Scenes[edit]

The Oceanarium is a real world location of the same name with similar buildings and a suspended whale skeleton. The entrance sign of the real world location matches the game's Oceanarium Sign.
