Five hours from Bangkok and one more on a speedboat,
and we arrived on Koh Mak (Mak Island),
one of the most famous tourist destinations in Thailand.
(I mean, really, 90% of the tourists there were non-Thai.)

I'm not a fan of beaches and too much sun, but I've got to admit this one blew my mind.
I didn't get as many pics I as wanted though because
1) I was an idiot for packing only one set of battery
(which was of course the one already in the camera *shakes head*) and
2) water and camera? Not a good combination.
So when we went snorkeling around nearby islands, I didn't bring it along.

Anyway, just thought I'd share the pretties!

It's been a while. Here's another epic picspam for a challenge over at picspammy.

I'm not the kind of person who talks about where I come from. By no means that I am ashamed of my homeland. I just find talking about it kind of strange and irrelevant when we're online. Most of us are here to get away from our mundane life in our extremely ordinary country. Sometimes we don't understand why people want to come to a place where we can barely survive to relax and recharge.

Oftentimes we need to see 'the ordinary' through someone else's eyes in order to see the beauty of where we live and realize how much we don't ever want to be taken away from it, because it's the one place we know we can always come back to.

I'm not making this picspam to tell people how awesome my home country is, but to remind myself not to ever forget that.

Pattaya is by no means the best beach in Thailand,
but it's only 2 hours from Bangkok and the food is awesome.

One of my best friends and I went on a little trip this past Sunday. It was like the only day last week that didn't rain like crazy. Luck or fate I'm still not sure, lol.

I'm back, and Jason's show was worth every damn penny I spent. He was the most awesome thing ever! A genius who is humble and gracious. The world needs more of that. I'll post the setlist and some pics tomorrow, along with other pics from the trip as well. :D

So what's new in SPN/J2 world? Or any world at all? I have to catch up with "American Idol" first (I hope some more gay kids get through to the next round, lol), but I'm all for anything.

Just thought I'd let you guys know:
- In less than 12 hours I will be on a plane to Singapore to see my love, Jason Mraz, perform live. Will bring you some pics, I hope.
- I will be spending some time with my girl akari_hayashi who got me the ticket to said show which was apparently sold out after a week or so. XD
- I might be able to see JDM in Watchmen before I thought I could because it's showing in Singapore right the fuck now. Woo!
- Some of you might have noticed that all the pics/icons in my old entries are now not viewable because my Photobucket account decided to exceed the bandwidth this month. WTF? Anyway, I'm using other host as of now, but I think all the old pics/icons will be back next month. Right?
- As for my dog!lessons fics, I'm still planning on continuing the 'verse, but work has been hell lately, and other stuff has got me distracted. I will write as soon as I can. For those who haven't read it, give it a try. They're all standalone stories of schmoopy J2. &hearts
- On "American Idol" front: how much do you have to kiss another dude to be gay? XD
- I hope nothing apocalyptic happens during my two-day trip. Don't announce your engagement just yet, okay, boys?
- Lastly, I would like to thank everyone who has replied to my entries, no matter how random or trivial they seem. Once in a while it's good to know that you're a part of something. :)

Just some pics from a short trip we took to Sukhothai
(a province in the north of Thailand) this past weekend.
Historical sites are my favorite places to travel.
Plus, it was a very good exercise, lol.
