all I need from you

I know I've been MIA. I'm still a somewhat active fan of H/R (and CM in general), but I mostly station myself on Tumblr now. I know some are not a fan of the place, but I don't mind it, even though the fan experience can be a bit exhausting there from time to time. It's a very opinionated place after all. So if you're on Tumblr or want to follow me there, I'm using the same username, bowie28.

Also just a heads up, my blog is not exclusively H/R (or CM). I'm currently obsessed with Sterek and Teen Wolf, but I'm sure CM stuff will turn up more once the new season starts. Feel free to talk to me via my askbox. :)

Not sure if anyone is still checking this journal, but I made some kind of Hotch/Reid manifesto a few months ago and forgot to post the link here. I know we H/R fans are few and not as vocal as some other shippers in the fandom, but I feel that with what the show has given us over the years, we're still strong. I for one still love and adore this pairing as much as I did the first day I started supporting them. Enjoy. :)

Why Hotch/Reid... you ask

To all H/R fic readers, in case you missed this in my reply on tumblr two weeks ago, I'll make a proper post here.

As some of you already know, for weeks Delicious has been a pain and won't let us navigate the tags with a dash/dashes (-) such as episode-tag, hurt-comfort, etc. I have sent them messages about this, but nothing have been done so far. Fortunately, I have found a way to cheat the system.

All you need to do is fix the tag in the address bar:

for example, change “episode-tag” or “episode__-__tag” to “episode_-_tag”

Just make sure that there is ONE underscore between the words, not none or two.

So for example, change “delicious.com/bowie28/episode-tag” or “delicious.com/bowie28/episode__-__tag” to “delicious.com/bowie28/episode_-_tag”

This works with all tags with dash(es) between the words.

Let’s hope Delicious gets around to fix this problem soon because I really, really don't want to rename all the tags, or even worse, change the website altogether.

As many of you may know, Delicious has been bought and run by another developer. The new Delicious officially opened last night and there are changes, A.K.A. problems. The biggest issue right now is tag management. Right now tags with ‘/’ are not working, so basically you cannot access tags for pairings (such as hotch/reid, prentiss/rossi). It’s very annoying, I know, but the site is in beta stage and they are currently fixing bugs and adding more options. Until these problems are sorted out I cannot really fix anything. New links will still be added, but for now the tags (both accessible and inaccessible ones) will stay what they are.

The URL for the archive is http://www.delicious.com/bowie28 (without ‘hotch/reid’ at the end). All links to Hotch/Reid and CM fics are public.

Let’s hope things will get back to normal soon.
