What Did You See?

Spencer’s hand finally found Aaron’s erection as they stumbled through the dimly lit hallway.

“It’s two in the morning,” Aaron hissed as they passed Jack’s room.

“I don’t see how’s that relevant,” Spencer replied, hand inside Aaron’s sweatpants now.

Back pressed against his bedroom door, Aaron bit down a groan, fumbling for the handle. Once he found it, he was pushed through the doorway before Spencer closed the door and locked it.

On the bed, Spencer was on top of him, kissing him like a starving man. Aaron knew the feeling all too well. It had been months after all.

“I don’t care anymore,” Spencer said between kisses.

Aaron’s hand on Spencer’s nape froze.

“I don’t care that you lied,” Spencer said, this time looking Aaron in the eye. “Emily died. I died. You died.” Spencer’s fingers caressed Aaron’s cheek. “Yet here we are.”

“It hurts to be lied to, but it’s nothing--nothing compared to knowing what it feels like to have this and could lose it,” Spencer said. “I know that now, Aaron.”

Not knowing what to say, Aaron said the only thing he had been saying, the only thing he could say. “I’m sorry.”

“Then make it up to me,” Spencer told him.

And Aaron did. Oh how Aaron did.

To have Spencer in his mouth again, to hear those noises Spencer made, the noises he induced, it was a miracle he didn’t come right then and there. Spencer whined, cursed, begged, and when he came, it was a surprise, a surprise that lasted so long Aaron couldn’t help but feel proud a little.

“I love you,” Aaron heard himself say.

Spencer opened his eyes, still a little glazed from the ecstasy.

They had never discussed this before, and the words weren’t planned. But none of that mattered now, not when Aaron realized it was the truth.

“I love you,” Aaron repeated.

Spencer, head cleared now, opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came. Aaron didn’t know what he expected to hear.

Instead he watched Spencer watching him, pulling him in, kissing him, tasting him until he ached for Spencer’s touch.

Spencer smiled his knowing smile and pushed Aaron onto the mattress. Settling between Aaron’s thighs, Spencer leaned over and captured Aaron’s lips, sucking them into his mouth until Aaron gave in and let out a desperate groan.

“Please.”

“Shhh.”

“I need…”

“I know.”

When Spencer finally took Aaron’s cock in his hand, Aaron might have sobbed a little.

“Shhh.”

“Please, Spence…”

“Shhh.”

And when Spencer finally took Aaron deep inside him, Aaron was sure he cried a tear.

Spencer kissed him like he wanted to consume him whole, and the way Spencer moved above him felt that way too.

“Oh, God,” Aaron cried out as Spencer’s teeth found that spot on his neck and Spencer’s hips found that perfect angle.

Aaron missed this. Spencer’s skin on his. Spencer’s scent all over him.

“You feel so good,” Spencer whispered in his ear. “So good like this.”

Suddenly Aaron needed to touch Spencer everywhere. “Please.”

Spencer smiled down at him, understood completely. “Take me.”

The next thing he knew, he had Spencer under him and he was driving into that sensation he realized he’d grown too attached to now.

“I meant it,” Aaron said, never stopped moving. “When I said I…”

“I know,” Spencer nodded, hands pulling Aaron in even further.

“I really…”

“Please, Aaron…”

And then it happened, just how Aaron had expected it would be. Explosive. Blinding. Never-ending. The sound of his name on Spencer’s tongue over and over was just a bonus.

“What did you see?”

Aaron turned his head to where Spencer was now lying, warm, naked, equally sated.

“When you died. Did you see the light? Was it warm? Or was it dark and cold?”

It took Aaron a minute to reply. “I didn’t see anything.”

Spencer frowned at this. “Nothing?”

“Nothing,” Aaron recalled. “Everything was just… gone.”

Spencer still frowned, but said nothing this time. Instead he put his arm around Aaron and rested his head on Aaron’s chest.

“I’m sorry,” Spencer said, idly running his hand on Aaron’s stomach.

“Don’t worry about it,” Aaron cooed, playing with Spencer’s hair.

“I mean it too, Aaron,” Spencer said, looking up this time. “I love you.”
