Not too many birds lately, I think it's nesting season. Some Robins, Blue Jays, House Sparrows and a Red bellied Woodpecker. I did catch a quick look at a Wood Thrush in the woods.

It's also snapping turtle egg laying season - she's destroying our garden!

Most turtles are phlegmatic creatures, only a nuisance when they dig. Snapping turtles can be a lot more aggressive, get fairly large, have powerful claws, and can bite through wire. However, like all turtles, they are threatened by many factors so it is important to protect them.
