They're showing Supernatural on my TV, it's 2xo3 (Bloodlust). Here's a few observations:

(I've had a hellish, yet good day at work today. I'll catch up soon.)
- I nearly forgot how much the German dubbing sucks and how much Sam sounds like Dean and Dean like Sam. Why hire two guys if you can save some money by one person doing both, right?
- Remember that scene where Dean drives the Impala for the first time after rebuilding her? When he's almost orgasmic and Sam asks him whether Dean needs a moment with her? Sam called the IMPALA A HE!?!?! He said do you need a moment with HIM?? WTF?!
- Gordon is still the most awesome badass ever.
- Sammy looks absolutely gorgeous. I miss Sam season 2 hair. (See icon for gorgeous Sam hair.)
- Edit: WTF have they done with Ellen's voice? No, no, no! *cries*
- Edit again: They're showing another episode (Children shouldn't play with dead things) and there was the PORN SCENE! \o/ (Though, instead of saying awkward, Dean said Am I interrupting something? Boo!
- Alter, du drehst dich im Kreis, man! Who comes up crap dialogue like this? *snickers*

Today, Home from Season 1 was shown on German TV and I nearly forgot what a beautiful episode this was.
The scene at the gas station where Dean goes to call John and says he doesn't know what to do broke my heart all over again. So did the scene of the boys meeting Mary's spirit. The expression on Dean's face when he sees his dead mother nearly made me cry.
Maybe it's just hormones but Home is a really, really beautiful episode.
The German translations still suck sometimes, so do the dubbed voices, above all Missouri's who's not nearly as charming in German as in English. I guess, one of these days, I have to re-watch the original.

Btw, did we see ever see Missouri in any other episode but Home?

Gah, I missed the first 15 minutes of Dead in the Water because we had this work thing and I only came back home 15 minutes ago. There will be no episode reaction, maybe I'll do one on the weekend once I found out whether there'll be a re-run or whether I can find the episode online. Sorry!
Only one thing: Dean called Sam his crazy brother instead of his geek brother when showing his drawing to Lucas. I can't imagine that there's no suitable word for geek: Hmpf.
But for now, I'm dead tired and haven't eaten properly all day. A lot happened at work lately and maybe I'll talk about that tomorrow or so. Right now, I only wanna watch pretty boys on my screen and be a little shallow.

I never understood why people have to list each and every person they removed from their flist when they made a cut. Why? Isn't that a little, uh, childish?

The worst are the voices. I hate how they selected sound-alike voices for Sam, Dean and John. Especially John. The man has an incredibly attractive voice and this is what they do with it. I believe he had a different (better) voice for the German synchronization for Grey's. I have no idea why they didn't take this one.
A lot gets lost in translation. The whole "driver picks the music" thing for example didn't work. I think Sam called the "mullet rock" "Frisörmusik" which would be "hair dresser's music" or something equally idiotic. This makes me happy I watch the original version each week.
But we made it. We made it through the very first German episode of Supernatural. As to be expected, the synchronization is hideous but the boys are pretty. Thank God, I know the original and know where it is supposed to be funny. Am I watching again next week? Hell yeah.

Over here it is! Tonight the pilot is finally, finally airing on free TV. I think Seasons 1 and 2 have already been shown on pay TV and what I saw was not pretty. Well, it was pretty in that "the boys look pretty" way but not when it comes to the German synchronization. But I don't care. I'm still excited because tonight, Supernatural finally comes to my screen. Hurray!! \o/
Let's celebrate this with Season 1 boys:
