photo cleaning...

ive begun migrating some of the photos off my phone onto my laptop/backed up into an open-source cloud photo manager (it's only 10gb, but for migrating images between my phone/laptop it works fine, plus it's grouped by month which will make it easier to make folders on my laptop according to year and month)

definitely annoying as hell to have 3000 photos on my phone + other backups ive done of my phone in other years. i sorely just want to absolutely nuke my entire photo gallery, but im scared to lose any important photos and memories

the curse to either spend hours combing through photos (which will burn me out as a long-term project) or nuke it all and lose potential memories

Ugh, I hear you on that. I've nuked my photo library more times than I can count ("It's only memes", I tell myself), and only now am I really regretting not saving photos from college. DX If you have the time, definitely try combing through it.

eueheueheh yeah it’s stuff like that i worry abt… thankfully i think i got a giant chunk of it backed up to my cloud app im using now, but i need to go over it again just to be safe… cursed to be like ‘do i really need this picture of a box i took of the new figurine i bought…’
