What is your favorite painting or work of art? - kissed

hhgngm, it's hard because i tend to like a lot of art kinda passively? i don't have a painting or work of art that was monumentally lifechanging or something that left a lasting impact on me to remember, which sounds sad LOOL. you'd think as a visual person that those things would stick more ... oh there is ONE artist who left an impact (and kinda dug his own damn hole)

i really liked Peter Mohrbacher a lot for his divide being artworks to the point i even bought an artwork i have hanging in my own room, but the problem is he got really into the NFT craze and bullshit back in 2020 (and defended it) so i kinda fell out of love with his work. he was pro-ai at some point but it sounds like he's stopped using it considering in this interview he said himself it's hindered his own art skills (i have to listen to this portion in full, but it sounds like he is aware that AI art is just shittier, but he HAS used it and thought of it as a good tool for artist to expedite work--and suffered for it with his own art)

it still very much kinda eroded my trust in him as an artist completely, even though i do still admire his skills and his artwork is gorgeous; i've known his artwork for many years now. this is the one i bought myself
