photo gallery!

i decided to revamp and gut my old food log on my site into a general photo log, cause with now having my digital camera, i wanna show off the pictures i've taken. obvs i still take photos on my phone (i'm not gonna go manhunt my camera when i wanna take a pic of the baby robins we have nesting in our ivy) so those will be in here as well, but it'll be like ... a compliation of cool pics. i've also got pics saved from back in 2010 scoured around my laptop/hard drives, so if i find any nice ones i might add them here too

photo cleaning...

ive begun migrating some of the photos off my phone onto my laptop/backed up into an open-source cloud photo manager (it's only 10gb, but for migrating images between my phone/laptop it works fine, plus it's grouped by month which will make it easier to make folders on my laptop according to year and month)

definitely annoying as hell to have 3000 photos on my phone + other backups ive done of my phone in other years. i sorely just want to absolutely nuke my entire photo gallery, but im scared to lose any important photos and memories

the curse to either spend hours combing through photos (which will burn me out as a long-term project) or nuke it all and lose potential memories
