The Last Voyages

The Last Voyages RPG has officially MOVED to Dreamwidth. For archival purposes the communities here will be maintained until such a time that all comments from all communities can be successfully imported to the new site.

The following Wardens and Inmates have been paired together. Wardens should receive files on their Inmates very shortly. Please study them carefully, and introduce yourself to your Inmate as soon as possible.

[The Barge creaks and groans, loudly enough to be heard throughout the ship. However, it's soon replaced by the Admiral's voice.]

Passengers, we seem to have taken on water. Please be aware of any changes that may have occurred.

[OOC: The I can't wait! flood had started! Your characters should wake up with their first gift today, as well as cookies, candies and their horrible winter sweaters!]

[The ship gives a tiny shake, just as it would for a flood and the Admiral's voice can be heard from every room on board the ship.]

Passengers, we seem- [He doesn't get to finish his sentence. The words abruptly stop and the ship gives a great jolt, knocking things off the wall and pushing over furniture. There's no time to process this, though, as there's a great cracking sound and the barge changes....

...into a winter wonderland! This is where your characters will end up. Consider this the beginning of the breach!]

[The barge gives a few small shudders in the mid morning, just after breakfast, and the Admiral's voice comes on in every room and is heard by every person.]

Passengers, we seem to have encountered a rough patch in our journey. [There's an unusual pause.] Please be cautious and aware of any changes that might have occurred.

[OOC: The flood is on! Assume that the fairies are roaming around now, having appeared seemingly out of nowhere!]

[No matter where your character is, they will hear the same message from the Admiral, as if it's in their ear. No one else around them acts like they can hear it.]

The barge has completed its repairs and it's time to come home.

[OOC: Port's over, guys! Your character will find themselves transported to the barge next time that they open a door.]

[Early in the afternoon, the Admiral makes his announcement. It seems to come from everywhere at once and is strangely familiar, though you can't place it.]

The ship will be docking shortly. Please prepare for docking procedures. Enjoy your vacation while it lasts. We will be leaving in four days.

[Time passes. No more than an hour, at which point the bomb will explode, Rex and co. will escape, and the takedown will occur- log to follow shortly. The barge and all passengers will be transported to the Land of the Dead. The plotting posts for these are here and here. The Admiral's voice comes on not long after the crash.]

Passengers, it seems that the barge is in dire need of repairs. Every person has a responsibility to bring back the following items.
