Biography
Ann Hughes, daughter of Thomas, was born in about 1818 in England or Wales but not Lancashire.
Ann married Robert Bruce Goldsworthy on 27 Feb 1840 at St Paul's Church in Liverpool, Lancashire. Both were of full age (21 or more); Robert was a widowed stone mason living in Prescot St, Ann was a spinster living in Peach St. Their fathers were named as John Goldsworthy (mining agent) and Thomas Hughes (joiner). The witnesses were James Goldsworthy and Jane Gilbert Goldsworthy. [1]
Ann died in 1846. [2] Ann was buried on 22 February 1846 in Liverpool, Lancashire. Her age was recorded as 27, and her address as Holbourn St. [3]
