It's because the elo system sucks ass and personal performance doesn't matter
They get more people addicted to playing by forcing 50% wr. It's a business.
why don't you just q with donk, zywoo, monesy. then you will have 99% win rate, not that hard
yup
everyone has from 11W-19L in the last 30 games to 19W-11L in last 30 games..
Sure , sometimes you may get a 22-8 streak... but then you wait some days of playing, and you will lose it almost all
Unless you are a PRO or a very good player, to consistantly have streaks and kinda " smurf" your way above the ranks , you will be on this plateuau
To get out of the 50% range you need to be insane, if you're playing solo don't expect lucky.
maybe you’re just not that good. if you’re playing solo you’re just sabotaging yourself. the system isn’t perfect but if you’re constantly at 50% then you’re probably in your skill group.
Most platforms use system called “EOMM”. Goal is not to keep the game fair, but to keep you engaged. It’s unethical asf, but thats how it works.
Your mistake was that you care about your ranking in the first place.
I have other problem . Before season 8 I felt like lobbies where I played are becoming better and better ( better skill players and communication and etc ) because before that I was playing with a lot of animals/ruiners etc . And after this season 8 calibration once again I am playing with same retards once again . And I have got no desire to spend a lot of time to get to a normal lobby once again . So I play like just whenever I feel like I want to to play and not regularly
a good player can be in your team or a bad player might be on your team, if you are mid then its 50/50 on if you win your next match. if ur better than avg it will be like 55/45 or smth. sometimes u go on downswings of like 10 match losses but in the long run it should balance out if you arent bad
you just have to be so good you start winning more cuz your solo queueing you must be much better than the average skill of your elo.
tryna get out of the slums of level 2 and i’ve gotten 4 teammates with under 20 games and 30% win rates 3 games in a row
I gave up on this faceit shit fell alllll the way from level 9 to mid level 7 its just a coin flip on solo.
buddy if you are on 50WR, it's just because you belong there.. On top faceit even accounts for you carrying the game, so if you get -27 +33 every game, even with 50 wr you would go up by ~150 elo every 50 games
It's not fucking staged dude, it's exactly the opposite - it's a random pug with random players who make random decisions, so of course it's 50/50 to win, how could you expect any consistency whatsoever in a system that takes 10 random players and mixes them together based on numbers next to their name? What creates consistency in CS is knowing your teammates' reactions to certain things happening on the map, so in a team where you practice together, sure, you can expect consistency from your game. But in random 5v5 pugs? Every round is just a lottery and all you can do is hit your shots and try tilting the odds slightly in your favour. And on top of that, you talk about the kills as if they were the deciding factor... But the truth is you can have 20 kills and little impact on the real outcome of the rounds, while you can have 7 kills but 5 of them so crucial that you literally win the game thanks to them. So not everything is as black and white as you're trying to portray it. Every round is different and every detail matters.
As long as you don't have a consistent five-stack you regularly play with, your pugs will ALWAYS be random 50/50 and all you can do is try your best to shift the odds in your team's favour - and not necessarily by getting unimpactful kills ;)
all modern matchmaking has terrible algorithm, only way you win is you play it 'faze bs' style
Always the hardstuck clowns crying about 50/50 bs. This is why modern games like Street Fighter 6 give you more elo for winning than you lose for losing.
Elo system works for chess but not for cs, its a a bad system because it doesnt take into consideration your individual performance. In chess if you lose 20 games in a row then its all your fault and you are where you belong.
In cs soloq you can lose 20 games in a row and play good in all of them. And even if you make impactful decisions and kills because these rtards are regularly losing huge advantages
"It doesn't matter how big impact you have on games you will have no more than 51% win ratio after 1000 matches"
Yeah no shit, that's how skill based matchmaking works. You win, you get more difficult opponents, then you lose. The system pushes you towards a 50% win rate because that is the most fair for everyone involved.
The system is rigged, but you are the one rigging it.
It is a funny thing with competetive games such as CS. From the perspective of the individual it might feel totally random if you win or lose, which often leads to reasoning that individual success is determined by the 9 other people in the server. Which is true, in any given game, you only make up 10% of players.
Though as you highlighted, you have some games where you get 40 kills, and others where you get 5. If we attempt to quantify this output, by saying the total "impact" for a 10 player match is 100%, where the team with more than 50% impact wins.
We can use to say that you provided more than 10% impact in your 40 kill game, end less than 10% impact in your 5 kill game.
In any skill rating, in any given rating system, you will get instances of both teammates and opponents which provide different amounts of impact. Some games will have extremely high >30% impact teammates, some will have extremely bad <5% impact teammates. But on average, will your teammates provide 10% impact each, and enemies will do the same.
This is all to say.
The only consistent part of any match is you. If you can consistently provide more than your 10% share of impact, then you are a positive force on your own elo and will win more matches than you lose.
If you play consistently good, over a long series of maches, then you will get a higher winrate.
Though playing consistently good, does not mean your skill-level can be static, it too needs to consistently improve to make sure you can keep up with the pace from meeting better opponents.
There are too many variables to keep track of in order to accurately say who provided impact to any given match. We do however know that consistent positive impact leads to more wins than losses. It is therefore better to not try to quantify these differences, since it is an infeasible task to succeed at.
The modified elo system is there for a good system for faceit, since it will, on average, be correct.
TL;DR Skill Issue.
you lose some unlucky games in a row where people get mad they downvote/report and you in the loop of noobs, account buyers, griefers, toxics your only chance is to win some games by lifegame or play with fullstack
winnersq and losersq are real things but I dont think faceit has it, atleast not in my experience
There is easy solution. Stop playing this shit.
#FuckFaceit #Justice4Pasha
you just learned about ELO and skill based matchmaking after 1800 matches? are you a real person?
unless you are a pro your WR will always hover around 50-53%. that's how it's designed to be.
if you win 5 games in a row, you WILL have harder matches incoming.
do people really play faceit without understanding how the system works? no wonder there's so many toxic 50iq bots who expect to win every game and then cry after losing pistol.
They made it worse with the "placement" matches. They just made it to reduce the overall ELO and I have to play against 3300 ELO pre-placement on my 2100 noob ELO. I'm 33 ffs, I just want to play when I have the time :D
Why do you care about your rank in the first place?
Bro, I've played premium matches for 4 days and I played 16 matches. I can bet 1k $ that in 12 matches I've got new acc enemys whos playing like god. I don't know whats happend with prems. I think in normal matches I can less play against those new acc superstars
