Maddock Films

Maddock Films Pvt. Ltd. is an Indian film and web series production company founded by film director and producer Dinesh Vijan established in 2005.

1st Logo (September 12, 2014-April 7, 2022)

Visuals: The screen pans through various black shapes and zooms out to reveal that the shapes are the text "MADDOCK". As the camera is at a comfortable distance, the "A" gets squished by the "M" and "DDOCK", turning it into a crudely drawn blue star. Underneath, "FILMS" in spaced-out letters fades in letter-by-letter. The logo ends on an iris zoom-out transition which zooms into the star.

Variants:

• On Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank, Sky Force, and Bhool Chuk Maaf, the logo is darker than usual.
  • A shortened version is seen on Tehran. As the logo zooms out, "FILMS" already fades in as the star gets squished by the text. The iris zoom-out transition is also removed.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A stock heroic fanfare (this is the same stock music heard in the 2005 Wiseau-Films logo), which is cut off by a loud bang that is heard once the "A" gets squished, and a creaking sound as the star appears. A piano is then played once each letter of "FILMS" fades in, along with a reversed piano note at the iris-out.

Audio Variants:

• On Badlapur, the remaining last note of the Eros International fanfare is heard on the very start of the logo.
• On Tehran, a whoosh is heard first, followed by a different banging sound. The piano tune is also shortened.

Availability: It first debuted on Finding Fanny and was last seen on Dasvi. It made a reappearance on Stree 2: Sarkate Ka Aatank and Sky Force, released on August 15, 2024 and January 24, 2025, respectively.

  Bhediya (2022): The "A" is drawn in blood and is already formed, which then glows in red. The company name, with "FILMS" in red, forms in via a ripple effect. The "A" then gets slashed in with blood, making the logo shake a bit.

• 
  Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023): The "A" is slightly different and has a more detailed texture, and three hearts appear beside the "A". Also, the zoom-in through the "D" is omitted. A twelve-note flute theme is heard throughout.

  Murder Mubarak (2024, Netflix): On a copper-bordered verdigris-colored floral background, the grayish-brown text "MADDOCK", now in a bold serif font, is first seen. "M" and "DDOCK" then move to the left and the right, respectively, and squishes the "A", making the camera shake, and move back to their usual positions, revealing the letter "A" from the normal logo, now written in blood, as "FILMS" flips in below one-by-one in spaced-out letters. The camera then zooms in slightly two times. Instead of the normal music, a high-pitched female choir, which later fades out, is first heard. The sound of blood is then heard, along with the sounds of dust, followed by an eight-note flute sounder similar to the Zara Hatke Zara Bachke variant, and a ringing sound at the end.

Visuals: On a black background, a deep pink "A" is drawn through some deep pink dots, which later changes into a solid, paintbrush-written version of it, which glows. It later shrinks as the letters "M" and "DDOCK", both in Verdana, then flip into the "A"'s left and the right, respectively. "FILMS" in Myriad then appears underneath letter-by-letter as an underline draws beneath "FILMS". The camera then zooms in through the "D".

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A two-verse Hindi chant sung by a man, along with a reversed cymbal crash at the end.

Availability: First seen on Bhediya, and can be seen on their recent films such as Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. It also made an appearance at the end of Param Sundari (2025), which used the previous logo at the beginning.
